Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities on a construction site to ensure the successful completion of projects. Ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Activities

Site Supervision:

Managing and supervising all activities on the construction site, including coordinating with subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications. You will oversee construction activities, conduct regular site inspections, and address any issues or concerns that arise.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment on the construction site. This involves conducting safety inspections, implementing safety protocols, and addressing any safety issues promptly. You will also be responsible for maintaining proper documentation and records related to safety procedures and incidents.

Quality Control:

Monitoring and enforcing quality standards to ensure that construction work meets the required specifications and industry standards. You will conduct inspections, review construction plans, and address any quality concerns or deficiencies identified during the construction process.

Resource Management:

Managing and optimizing the use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution. This involves coordinating with suppliers, monitoring resource availability, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site.

Budget and Cost Control:

Monitoring project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment expenses, and ensuring adherence to the approved budget. You will work closely with the project team to identify cost-saving opportunities, manage change orders, and address any budget variances.

Communication and Reporting:

Facilitating effective communication among project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and clients. You will provide regular progress updates, prepare reports on project status, and address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders.

Risk Management:

Identifying and assessing potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. This involves conducting risk assessments, implementing risk management plans, and addressing any unforeseen issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, permits, and contracts. You will also keep records of project milestones, change orders, and any other relevant documentation to ensure proper project documentation and compliance.

Team Leadership and Development:

Providing leadership and guidance to the construction site team, including subcontractors and workers. You will motivate and inspire the team, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive and productive work environment. Additionally, you may identify training and development needs and provide opportunities for skill enhancement.

Responsible for accompanying the RTO/RE during inspection and ensuring compliance against specification and CONQUAS requirements

· Oversees concrete cube-taking process for the compressive strength tests, and ensures proper compaction and concrete curing conditions for compliance with the specified compressive strength.

· Monitor concrete cube test results and maintains such laboratory test report in files

· Responsible for processing and upkeep of timely inspection records

· Responsible for reporting on accomplished schedules to PM

· Responsible for QEHS corrective and preventive actions.

· Coordinate and Monitor all C&S trade

· Coordinate with others discipline (M&E and Architecture) for all technical issues found in construction drawings

· Check all drawings and prepare RFI for all discrepancies

· Coordinate and submit all materials to consultant for approval

· Coordinate with BIM team for all C&S matter

· PE Submission and tracking

· Precast Monitoring and updating

· All structural technical matters

· Monthly progress report

· Other adhoc duties as assigned by Project Manager

Requirement:

· Candidate must possess at least Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably recognize by PE Board

· At least 3 years of local relevant experience in civil/ building works

· Proficient in Microsoft Office & AutoCAD, basic knowledge for BIM software like Revit

· Independent, self-motivated with excellent team spirit

· Candidate with HDB experience would be an advantage

Ø Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations for foreign employees, ensuring timely submission and compliance with government regulations.

Ø Oversee payroll processes, benefits administration, and leave management.

Ø Review and recommend salary structures, bonuses, and incentive schemes.

Ø Identify employee training needs and develop programs to enhance skills and competencies.

Ø Organize internal and external training programs to support career growth and development.

Ø Oversee office management, including lease agreements, facility maintenance, and vendor management.

Ø Ensure the office environment supports productivity and complies with safety regulations.

Ø Ensure compliance with all labor laws, health and safety standards, and internal policies.

Ø Prepare and present HR reports on workforce trends, turnover rates, and other key metrics to senior management.

Ø Any ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirement :

Ø Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Human Resource.

Ø Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.

Ø Minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Ø Experience in managing work pass applications, foreign worker regulations, and office administration is preferred.

Ø Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.

Ø Preferred to have working experience in Construction Industry ;
