Job Description

• Responsible for quantity take-off and cost estimation for interior fit-out projects
• Prepare tender submission
• Obtain prices from specialist, suppliers and subcontractors
• Arrange & keep tender documents systematically
• Comprehensively master the works required in every tender
• Tendering and contract documents administration, preparing BQ, Cost Estimate, Cost Control, Budgeting,processing of claims, contract payments and settlement of final accounts
• To attend tender interviews, site show-rounds
• Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements

• Min 3 years of experience in Interior Fit-out tenders/ projects
• Can work independently
• Preferable candidates with Interior Fit-Out experience

Qualification

Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the mechanical and electrical (M&E) design and engineering activities.
• Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of M&E systems for construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure integration and coordination of M&E systems with overall project design.
• Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
• Prepare and present technical proposals and reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in the design and construction of M&E systems.
• Manage and monitor project progress, budget, and quality of deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in M&E design and engineering, preferably in the construction or design industry.
• Experience in managing and leading a team of engineers.

(A) Job Summary:

The Specialist for Underground Construction produces work plan and supervises the underground construction works including structure work in tunnels to deliver the product to the requirement of the project. He/she must be knowledgeable about innovative construction techniques, coordination with other contractors and safety issues. He/she is expected to work well with the teammates to achieve the shared goals. Working in shifts will be required.

(B) Essential Job Functions:

The Specialist for Underground Construction is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Provide planning of underground construction in locations with limited access, from safety, quality and productivity viewpoint.
• Provide engineering supervision to underground construction works.
• Ensure the work is done in compliant with the protocol established for the project.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders.

(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• Recognized bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Underground construction work experience.
• Experience in construction work in locations with limited access.
• Experience in construction work using innovative technologies.
• Experience in airport project.

(D) Personality:

• Strong organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to influence various stakeholders and build long term relationships.
• Ability to lead Construction staff and to provide supervision to the staff.

(E) Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

• Good knowledge of engineering standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of safety management.
• Good computer skill to fulfil the job functions.
• Ability to analyse and synthesize complex issues quickly.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
