Roles and Responsibilities :

· Assist Product Owner, Business Analyst to craft out user story acceptance criteria

· Analyse and decompose complicated software systems, and design a holistic test strategy

· Conduct research on emerging technologies and develop test automation framework

· Develop test suites of test scenarios and test cases

· Take a risk-based approach for test automation

· Perform time boxed exploratory testing

· Maintain regression test suite in QA nightly build

· Actively refine smoke test suite in Development CI environment

· Lead system integration testing with other systems

· Manage user acceptance testing

· Manage defect life cycle, test artefacts and repository

· Drive continuous improvement in agile testing practices and tools

· Take on secondary role as low code application development engineer or Security Ops Engineer

· Improve software quality using XP practices such as code review and unit testing

· Understand the IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines to ensure the development processes, procedures and system are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines

Knowledge and Skills:

· Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.

· Min 4 years’experience in exploratory testing and regression test automation

· Strong analytical skills

· Meticulous attention to details

· Good interpersonal skills such as tactfulness

· Good presentation and listening skills

· Experience in agile development environment will be an added advantage

· Experience with Robot Framework, SikuliX, Selenium, playwright, Micro Focus Testing Tools (Mobile Center, UFT, QC and Sprinter) or EggPlant or Pega Unit Test will be an added advantage

· Certified Software Testing Professional and/or Certified Software Quality Analyst will be an added advantage

1. Tendering and Quotation Preparation

• Analyze project requirements provided by the main contractor or client.
• Prepare competitive bids or quotations for subcontracted works based on the scope, materials, labor, and other costs.
• Identify cost risks in the tender documents and include them in pricing.

2. Contract Review and Negotiation

• Review the main contract and subcontract agreements to identify key terms, such as:Payment schedules.
  Scope of work.
  Retention clauses.
  Liquidated damages.
  

3. Progress Claims and Payment Certification

• Prepare and submit progress claims to the main contractor based on work completed.
• Justify claims with proper documentation such as work progress reports, BOQs, and invoices.
• Resolve disputes regarding payment amounts or delayed certifications.Identify variations in the scope of work requested by the main contractor or client.
• Prepare and submit variation claims, including supporting documents like revised drawings or site instructions.
• Negotiate additional costs and time extensions caused by these changes.

Familiarity with Singapore Standards for Demolition Works

• SS 557: Code of Practice for Demolition:Outlines best practices for planning and executing demolition works.
  Includes safety measures, methods of demolition, and environmental considerations.
  
• SS 536: Code of Practice for Earthworks:Relevant if excavation or site clearance is part of the demolition.
  
• SS 603: Environmental Management:Guidelines for minimizing environmental impact, such as noise, dust, and waste
• Familiarity with National Environment Agency (NEA) guidelines for managing noise, vibration, and waste disposal during demolition.
• Adherence to the Environmental Protection and Management Act (EPMA) for controlling dust and emissions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly & monthly inspection reports.
• Analyse and trouble-shooting production quality issues.
• Material receiving inspection
• Disposition of non-conforming products (incoming & outgoing).
• Handle customers’ complaint (CAR) with effective corrective actions.
• Provide training to QC inspectors.
• Liaise with client inspector on inspection point(s).
• Conduct regular line audit and drive for quality improvement.
• Conduct internal ISO audit and manage external customer audit.
• Conduct PMI, Pressure & PT tests
• To keep and update all the Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and
  Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)
• To keep and update all non-conformance reports (NCR), follow-up sheet, calibration status report of measuring and test equipment.
• Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor or higher management.
