Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering

Job Description

• Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client's requirements.

(LTA project)

We are seeking a skilled Civil Construction Utility Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing utilities for LTA (Land Transport Authority) projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in liaising with utility agents, managing NCE (Non-Compliance Event) applications, handling traffic control plans, and ensuring the successful execution of utility diversion works.

This role requires close collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including government authorities, contractors, and subcontractors. The engineer will ensure that all utility relocation and construction activities are executed in compliance with project specifications, LTA standards, and local regulations.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Utilities Coordination and Management:

• NCE Application Handling:

We are searching for a reliable, deadline-driven construction supervisor to oversee construction crews at our company. The construction supervisor's responsibilities include recruiting new crew members, monitoring performance and making recommendations for improvement, as well as educating all staff on safety. You should ensure that projects stay within budget and that required materials and equipment are available.

To be successful as a construction supervisor, you should demonstrate a sound understanding of safety regulations and building codes and be able to transfer this knowledge to your team. Top-notch construction supervisors are leaders who can identify problems and find feasible solutions to them.

Construction Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Ensuring teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines.
• Monitoring construction processes, and providing training and team building sessions are required.
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Performing equipment, material, and routine site inspections.
• Scheduling regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff.
• Writing up reports, budgets, project plans, and presenting them to relevant stakeholders.
• Working closely with architects and other professionals.
• Staying up-to-date with safety codes and advancements in construction.
• Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff.
• Processing paperwork and traveling to multiple sites as required.

Construction Supervisor Requirements:

• High school diploma or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in construction, business, management, or engineering preferable.
• Experience in the construction industry required.
• Experience in a leadership role recommended.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure.
• Ability to keep track of multiple projects.

Civil Engineer (Civil Construction)

(LTA project experience required)

Primary Roles

• Plan, prioritize and manage assigned projects, involved in the areas of pre-planning, budgeting, resources allocation, contract negotiation, drawings submission, progress claim, and worker coordination, to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively and project deadlines are met.
• Supervise construction site personnel and subcontractors, client & consultant, attend weekly project progress meetings, and monitor compliance with building and safety codes and regulations.
• Ensuring the timely, budget control, and cost-effective completion of construction projects.

Key activities

Project Planning

Responsible for creating a comprehensive project plan that outlines the project's objectives, scope, deliverables, timeline, and resource requirements. They collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and develop a roadmap for project execution.

Risk Management

Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Conduct risk assessments, create risk management plans, and implement risk response strategies to minimize the impact of risks on project outcomes.

Schedule Management

Develop project schedules, defining tasks, dependencies, and timelines. Monitor progress, track milestones, and identify any deviations from the planned schedule. If necessary, adjust keep the project on track.

Quality Assurance

Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Define quality criteria, establish quality control processes, and conduct regular inspections and reviews to monitor and improve the project's quality.

Reporting and Documentation

Responsible for generating regular progress reports and status updates for stakeholders. Document project activities, decisions, and outcomes to create a comprehensive project record.

Stakeholder Management

Identify project stakeholders and establish effective communication channels with them. Engage stakeholders throughout the project, manage their expectations, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.

Change Management

Handle changes that occur during the project lifecycle. Assess change requests, evaluate their impact on the project's scope, timeline, and budget, and implement appropriate change management procedures.

Continuous Improvement

Evaluate project performance and conduct lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement. Use feedback and insights gained from completed projects to enhance project management processes and practices within the organization.

Requirements:

Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with PE Board recognized

Minimum 3 years construction experiences in Singapore especially in Civil & Infrastructure works

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and lead our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, hold relevant certifications, and have substantial experience working as main contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Planning and Coordination: Continue to refine and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Actively coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that project milestones are achieved, and any emerging issues are addressed promptly.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction work meets quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates and address any issues or changes.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Documentation: Ensure comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, safety plans, inspection reports, progress reports, and correspondence, is meticulously maintained and fully compliant with local regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), CPM (Construction Project Manager), or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Experience: Proven success as a Project Manager for a main contractor, with extensive experience in overseeing and delivering successful projects.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, contract management, safety regulations and technical tools (AutoCAD, Project Management Software Tools, Microsoft Teams)
