* Minimum ten(10) years of relevant experience as a mechanical and electrical engineer, of which at least three (5) years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to major construction works in buildings, plumbing/Sanitary Experiance.

Liaise with Clients, Consultants and Authorities for management of project

Responsible for on-site technical / engineering / administrative matters

Involve in project planning, implementation, and close monitoring of projects

Review the relevant standards and test requirements before commencement of the jobs

Organize and provide staffing, equipment and materials for testing

Manage and minimize operations costs (e.g. manpower, maintenance of equipment, overtime, etc)

Recommend or propose solutions for new testing scope requested by stakeholders for management decision making

Manage and supervise the administration works

Check and ensure the completed test reports are signed by authorized approved signatory

Review and update the test standard to the latest version (e.g., yearly)

Ensure invoices are sent to the client on time and accurate

Respond to the client for testing and technical enquiry

Monitor, track and close any non-compliance cases

Plan and manage maintenance and calibration of testing machine and equipment to ensure availability and reliability

Schedule and send Lab equipment / machine for calibration

Maintenance schedule for the machine and equipment

Liaise with vendors for repairing of machine / equipment

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Construction, Marine, Process and Engineering Sector
• Self-motivated, able to multitask
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to liaise with all levels of people
• Good knowledge of local industry
• Relevant experience in design of Buildings, Civil and Infrastructure works
• Willing to travel / work in Jurong / Jurong Island / Bukom Island

Job Description

1. Assist Project Engineer for on-site technical and engineering matters.
2. Assist with the site inspection to ensure site works are executed based on approved drawing.
3. Assist the structural manager to coordinate the cross-construction cooperation of various construction teams and professional subcontracts. Participate into the daily project safety management.
4. Assist with upkeep site record and progress report.
5. Other duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

1. Candidate must majored in Civil Engineering.
2. Analytical, organized and possess strong planning skills.
3. Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

• Possess a recognized degree in Civil Engineering with at least twenty years of post-graduation relevant experience and of which at least five years as a Project Director in building projects.
• Provide advice and guidance to Project Managers.
• Monitor and certify payments to suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Ensure sufficient resources for the project team in terms of organization structure/staffing, project financing and machinery investment/rental.
• Resolve any issues that the Project Manager cannot resolve
• Determine staffing and suitability of key personnel in the Project Team, namely Project Manager and Deputy Project Manager.
• Provide technical and engineering support to the Project Managers.
• Identify and assess any foreseeable risks arising from the workplace or work processes.
• Take reasonably practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person at the workplace.
• Ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risks.
• Represent the Organization on important issues pertaining to the project.
• Attend project meetings with clients and consultants.

Responsibility:

• Report to Project Manager, develop projected milestone, plans and method statement.
• Responsible for on-site technical and engineering matters.
• Participate in the preparation of construction plans and technical coordination for the structural part of the project management plan. Participate in the drawing review.
• Ensure site works are executed based on approved drawing, project requirement, schedule, safety & quality standard.
• Organise the pre-inspection before formal acceptance. Coordinate and inspect with sub-contractor and consultant.
• Identify and solve problem areas that do not fulfil engineering and structure requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments for all drawings.
• Responsible for timely technical clarification of changes to engineering drawings and other technical documents.
• Assist the structural manager to coordinate the cross-construction cooperation of various construction teams and professional subcontracts. Participate into the daily project safety management.
• Cooperate with the company's technical department and participate in the implementation of BIM and C-score.
• Coordination and on-site supervision of the concrete usage of the building, responsible/assist in completing the control and quality supervision of the prefabricated components, steel bars and other materials of the building; responsible for the structural material testing.
• Upkeep site record and progress report. Handling of drawing issues and authorities submission.
• Coordinate, attend meetings, liaise with consultants, clients, etc.
• Other duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess valid Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore IES / BCA and PE Board.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in main building construction.
• Experience in HDBBTO Projects is preferred.
• Good track records & working experience with local A1 / A2 main contractors is required.
• Analytical, organized and possess strong planning skills.
• Excellent project and time management abilities.
• Willing to work 5.5 days per week at HDDBTO Construction site.

Job Description

• The Project Admin performs all administrative functions concerned with the project.
• Assist Project Manager in updating various manpower schedule and submitting on various government web portal.
• Maintain project filing system for safe keeping important documents including but not limited to drawings,ISO documents, safety documents, correspondence with consultants and government authorities, original site staff attendance records and workers’ time cards.
• Provides administrative support to project Safety Officer in terms of maintaining, updating safety data base, safety training record and report and assist with safety submission.
• Maintains, updates, and distributes environmental/safety policies and procedures documentation.
• Raise acquisition stationery, IT software and hardware procurement. Maintain project fixed assets register and monitoring site stationery usage.
• Manage Photo Copy Machine and keep track of copier and pager usage by site staff and subcontractor staff. Provide monthly usage report to Project Manager.
• Consolidate site workers monthly payroll information from architecture and structure teams. Responsible for monthly worker’s salary compilation and submission.
• Provide basic IT and administrative support to HDB consultant and facilitate various site meeting.
• Compile and submit monthly site petty cash claim.
• Compose correspondence to company personnel and external agencies as required.
• Answers phones and refers calls to appropriate personnel or provides requested information.
• Perform adhoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience as Site Admin or Safety Admin.
• Good command of English in order to liaise with relevant government agencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
