The Postdoctoral Fellow will play a critical role in the development of the Centre’s research to support health policy and services research in Singapore and the region, gaining the opportunity to work with leading experts and policy makers in the field. As well as conducting and disseminating research on health economics and equity through journal publications, the successful candidate will be expected to submit research grant proposals, perform research administration, mentor junior research staff, and be involved in capacity building through conducting workshops for local and regional participants and supporting relevant training activities (e.g. short courses, co-supervision of masters dissertation students). To support daily Finance and HR matters.

• AR duties – Assist to prepare invoices and timely update of incoming receipts in the accounting system. Prepare Ageing report and following up with customers on all outstanding payments.
• Assist to upkeep of fixed asset register.
• AP duties – Assist to post invoices, prepare payments, checking of cash claims and processing of payments.
• Assist in year-end audit process.
• Assist in month-end closing.
• Assist to perform stock-take and reconcile inventories.
• Assist in handling full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment & onboarding process.
• Assist in Compensation & Benefits administration.
• Assist in monthly payroll processing.
• Assist to administer work pass application.
• Assist to administer all government claims (Maternity leave, ns claim, Child-care leave claim etc)
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of employees’ records etc.

EDUCATION

• Diploma in Accountancy / Human Resources or equivalent discipline

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Ability to multi-task and meet tight timelines.
• Meticulous and process-driven
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in the Healthcare/Retail industry will be advantageous.
• Proficient in both English and Chinese. Chinese is a must as the job requires communication with Chinese-speaking associates.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with Navision and Hyperion preferably
• Resourceful and independent with strong ability to work in a team.

• Coordination of Mechanical,Electrical, P&S design and installation.
• Ensure all works are carry out accordingly to drawings, specification, and compliance to authorities’ requirements.
• Site coordination and manage M&E personnel on work progress, drawings, material, samples, method statement submission and approval, to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Manage and Coordinate SWC.
• Preparation of CSD & SEM or CCSM drawings
• Monitoring of construction installation, field coordination and provide necessary problem solving.
• Carry out testing requirement, inspection with consultants.
• Conduct T&C and Handover to Client.
• Proper documentation of all test report, equipment records and As-built drawings.
• Supervision of workers and sub-contractor to ensure safety and compliance of work on site.
• Adhere to construction procedures and safe work practices and ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with Recognized Degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of supervision experience of M&E work in construction site for projects of similar scale and complexity.
