• Investigate workplace incidents involving employees, prepare preliminary reports, and support work injury compensation claims and reporting.
• Conduct Workplace Safety and Health Committee meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Arrange necessary safety and health orientation courses and related training for workers.
• Enhance safety awareness by organizing promotional activities such as safety posters, bulletin boards, videos, and exhibitions.
• Conduct safety training sessions to improve workers’ safety consciousness and knowledge.
• Maintain and update safety, health, and BizSAFE documentation (if applicable).

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in safety coordination.
• Possess qualifications recognized by MOM.
• MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
• Completed Fire Safety Manager (FSM) course.
• Trained in EHS management systems, such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
• Strong knowledge of MOM regulations.
• Proficient in computer applications.
• A team player who is results-oriented, independent, and possesses good coordination skills.

Workplace Safety Management

• Spearhead the establishment and maintenance of Safety & Health Management Systems (SHMS) on-site
• Implement and uphold project and corporate SHMS protocols
• Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace and process-related risks
• Propose and enforce safe work procedures
• Enhance workplace safety performance through strategic measures
• Ensure adherence to Company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and standards
• Ensure compliance with Statutory Requirements under MOM and NEA
• Contribute actively to the corporate EHS Committee
• Conduct in-house safety training sessions
• Develop and execute EHS plans, trainings, meetings, and promotional activities
• Conduct routine workplace inspections to identify and address hazards and risks promptly
• Enforce EHS / OSH regulations at the workplace
• Serve as secretary for the WSH Committee and preside in the absence of the chairman
• Investigate, manage, report, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders on accidents or EHS non-compliance incidents

Project Budget Control

• Implement effective safety provisions to minimize re-work
• Aim for ZERO accident rates
• Prepare safety cost budgets for approval

Technical Understanding

• Proficient in the Workplace Safety & Health Act and other regulatory requirements
• Ability to provide practical safety solutions

• Disseminate safety knowledge to all safety personnel

Internal Operations

• Report any site non-conformance to the immediate supervisor
• Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure robust Health and Safety protocols on-site

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must possess WSHO license and familiarity with safety audits
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the local Building and Construction industry
• Completion of a full cycle of HDB BTO project is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and a positive working attitude
