To provide better support for children reunifying to their natural families after staying in foster care or children's homes as well as preventing children from child protection risks, we started Befrienders for Families (BFF) last year. BFF aims to provide improve child outcomes when they are with their natural families. We work with families with child protection risks and seek to grow and enable befrienders to help such families and children.We are looking for an Asst Senior Social Worker (ASSW) and a Social Worker (SW) to be part of our BFF team.

You will be key in facilitating change and improving lives of our vulnerable children and youth and their families. You will also be instrumental in growing and implementing the BFF programme. You will need to (i) provide excellent professional services to assess, plan and execute interventions for clients through volunteers; (ii) provide supervision to ensure quality of services provided (iii) grow and support our volunteer pool; (iii) ensure safety of the vulnerable children, their families, volunteers and staff through good risk assessment and management; (iv) develop and evaluate the programme.

• Formulate casework intervention plans, implement case and care plans and interventions and evaluate progress and effectiveness of casework interventions.
• Conduct closure of cases upon achieving sustainable service outcomes for resident, and families.
• Review case notes, social reports and documents.

 Conduct group work

• Formulate group work intervention plans and supervise facilitation of group work interventions.
• Evaluate progress and effectiveness of group work interventions across Gracehaven.

Perform community development work

• Mobilise community resources; also to develop and Implement new community development initiatives.

Deliver programmes

• Lead development of specific programmes targeted at service gaps and service delivery issues. 

Uplift professional practice in social works

• Assist staff in implementing and improving their self-care plan and supervise staff in their work.
• Support professional development of staff within the organization and in line with MSF requirement.

• Degree or Graduate Diploma in Social Work from a recognisable university
• Must be registered with SASW Accreditation Board
• At least 5 years relevant experience is required, as well as some supervision
• Experience in working with children and youths and their families

Job Responsibilities

· Co-ordinate, support and advise the project team on all cost and contracts matters including procurement strategy, tendering bid evaluation.

· Assessment of liquidated damages and extension of time claims, performance bond, warranties, insurances and all other contract administration work.

· Support the project team in management of contractual issues, progress payments, variation works and settlement of final account with clients.

· To lead and advise management and project team in contract disputes and contract claims with clients/consultants and subcontractors

· Assist in Yearly financial closing of Accounts

· Support project team in costs studies and budget requests

Job Requirements

· Min 5 years and above working experiences in building construction industry

· Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying & relevant qualifications

· Must be proficient in the SIA Standard form of contract and Design & Build Contracts

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Project Management, Word & Power Point

· Able to communicate fluently in English & Mandarin (in order to liaise with the English & Mandarin speaking associates)

· Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

· Good written communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to communicate with people at all level and be meticulous with an eye for details

· Able to work under pressure due to tight deadlines

Job Description & Requirements

1. Handle end-to-end recruitment process, include job posting, conduct interviews and onboarding. Able to prepare employment-related letters such as employment contract, confirmation letters, resignation acceptance letters, and off-boarding procedures.
2. Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies while continuously improving HR processes and practices.
3. Handle the full spectrum of HR functions, payroll, leave management, day to day operations.
4. Manage work pass renewals, applications, cancellations, and levy waiver requests.
5. Process and check monthly timesheet for payroll.
6. Handle submission and processing of statutory payments and claims, including Government-Paid Leave, training grant submissions, etc.
7. Attend to employees' enquiries regarding payroll and leave matters.
8. Maintain accurate records in the HR system and employees' personal files.
9. Conduct and complete market survey from government agencies as required.
10. Any other adhoc duties as assigned by the Management or immediate superior.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a diploma preferably in a human resource related field (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
• Min 2 years of experience in related functions.
• Bilingual in English and mandarin to liaise and communicate effectively with Chinese speaking staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge with Opensoft System.
• Good communication skills, team player and organized.
