Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects which includes manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of master schedule and cost control.
• Exercise timely instructions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather or emergencies at construction project sites.
• Liaise closely with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, relevant authorities and developers in resolving site issues and authorities’ compliances issues to avoid discrepancies.
• Review manpower planning and monitoring of work schedules to ensure orderly delegation of jobs and smooth operation.
• Perform cost management to manage projects within approved budgets, include materials, manpower and machinery cost control for new and running projects.
• Exercise effectively safe and economical methodology and enforces project standards
• To perform any other ah-hoc duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Possess recognised Degree in Project Management or its equivalent
• Minimum 10 years’ construction working experience in project/site management in construction industry
• Preferably completed relevant safety courses required by MOM
• Independent, diligent, meticulous and highly motivated with excellent team spirit
• Good project management, communication and good analytical skills
• Ability to work with tight schedule in a fast-paced environment
• Adopt a proactive mindset when facing and solving issues; take charge of the planning and organization of resources and activities at the site
• Proponent of lean principles, actively seeking to maximize value and minimize waste in processes and resource management
• Believer of empirical data and measurement as the basis of decision-making to improve efficiency and productivity

Job Description

1. Propose architectural framing layout and design key elements of buildings, submit to architect / consultant
2. Coordinate with structural team and M&E team to ensure the final design in-line with architect’s design intents and client’s requirements
3. Review & verify consultants design drawings, counter propose another architectural design intent and feasibility of construction
4. Plan and supervise the schedule of design processes and submission to authority to meet the main project
5. Resolve site issues related to design or changes required by production team, to ensure no delay affecting main program projects
6. Supervise draftsmen and prepare architectural shop drawings for construction
7. Assist draftsmen to amend shop drawings during peak time to make sure that quality drawings are issued for construction on time
8. Preparation of architectural coordination and shop drawings for the project to be used on site for production
9. Disseminate architectural information to other design teams for overall design coordination
10. Issuance of RFI & SDA
11. Monitor shop drawing progress and provide support to production team
12. Visit site and collect data to determine the best possible design
13. Any other duties as may be assigned

Job Requirements

1. Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience as architectural design coordinator in PPVC D&B projects
2. Skill in Autocad / Revit
3. Degree holder in Architectural or Civil Engineering
