Job Descriptions:

• Effectively manage and implement projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, on-time delivery, and adherence to quality standards that meet client expectations.
• Oversee projects in alignment with the company's ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards, as well as contractual obligations.
• Handle both pre and post-contract stages, including reviewing tender documents, organizing tender activities, and settling accounts with owners, sub-contracts, and suppliers.

Job Requirement

• Possess a recognized degree by BCA in Civil Engineering.
• Accumulate at least 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering Projects, particularly in Marine Construction.

Department Overview:

Epworth HomeSweetHome was started in 2013 in partnership with the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) as the first Therapeutic Group Home in Singapore. The Home provides stay-in treatment for children between the ages of 7 to 12 years old who have experienced abuse. We use the Trauma System Therapy (TST) treatment model to help children with complex trauma and aggressive behaviour.

We believe that with early and appropriate intervention, children can recover and become well-adjusted persons with a healthy mental well-being. Apart from treatment within the Home, we also work with other helping professionals so that all the needs of these children could be met. Together with MSF, we work towards safe placements for these children, when they are ready to be discharged from the Home and well enough to return to the community.

Job Description:

• Work with others in a team to provide an environment of safety for children with difficult behaviours in a children’s home.
• Able to respond calmly to children when they exhibit difficult behaviours.
• Look after the needs of children (physical & mental wellbeing of children in care).
• Creating a safe and positive living environment, setting rules for children’s behaviour & providing one to one teaching/coaching on daily living skills.
• Check on each resident’s needs and progress.
• Help children form secure attachment bonds with appropriate adults.
• Provide close supervision to children.
• Work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Diploma in any discipline
• Must be able to work rotating shifts (day & night), on weekends and public holidays
• Able to work in an energetic environment with children
• Experience working with children is an advantage
• Persistent and active learner
• Need to have understanding and a non-judging attitude
