Summary of Job Responsibilities

Acting as MBS’s representative within the contractual terms applicable, this role is to direct, co-ordinate and supervise assigned projects with the Project Team. The Assistant Project Manager will oversee and provide day-to-day direction for a team of Consultants, Contractors.

• Remediate assets through controls and key controls focused on encryption, anonymization, IAM, logs, data classification, network, continuity, and third-party risk management.
• Report to the Data Protection Division Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor program capacity, schedule, and scope, ensuring adherence.
• Develop and manage the program budget and operating plan.
• Manage projects, ensuring proper structure and coordination.
• Establish project organization, closely following Project Managers contributing to the program.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting throughout the program lifecycle.
• Analyze program risks, raise technical issues, and assist in mitigation.
• Escalate foreseeable risks and issues to the Manager.
• Ensure planned implementation of requirements, traceability, and completion of tests.
• Manage a diverse team, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Coordinate with Production teams, local IT, and Release Manager for deployment.
• Ensure goals are met, including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team performance.
• Manage Steering Committee preparation and presentation.

Profile:

• 5+ years of Program Manager experience in banking, with a background in Data, Transformation, or Process Domain.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT security.
• Proficient in analysis methodology with a successful project delivery track record.
• Critical thinking skills, entrepreneurial spirit (optional), and relevant certifications (CISSP/CISM/CISA optional).
• Client-focused with impactful personal influence.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage/facilitate meetings, seminars, committees, and training.
• Proactive, positive attitude, and collaborative team player with problem-solving abilities.
• IT knowledge/background and familiarity with agile ways of working.

What will I be doing?

1. Establish clear safety and ethical guidelines for our AI products, developing expertise across a range of safety and editorial topics

2. Assess risks and design mitigations (including policy enforcement frameworks) associated with the deployment of our AI products, working closely with product teams

3. Monitor and analyze user interactions with our AI products, to inform policy development and enforcement 4. Partner with product, engineering, research, ops, legal, and PR teams to innovate our safety approaches based on the latest developments and best practices

What should I bring with me?

1. You have 3+ years of experience working in the technology industry, with exposure to policy development, program management, model training, and/or risk assessment

2. You have a deep understanding and interest in the key policy issues that impact AI

3. You have a bachelors or masters degree in artificial intelligence, public policy, politics, law, economics, behavioural sciences, or any other related field

4. You are a confident self-starter with excellent judgment, and can balance multiple trade-offs to develop principled, enforceable, and defensible policies and strategies. You have persuasive oral and written communication, with the ability to translate complex challenges into simple and clear language and persuade cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, and often uncertain environment

5. You have experience working with international partners across different time zones and cultures.
