A Snapshot

As Technical Services Manager (TSM) reporting to our Senior Technical Service Manager (STSM), you will work closely with our Operations team including Building Services Manager (BSM), making an impact in a number of ways:

• Supporting the STSM in relation to all aspects of data centre operations to achieve 100% uptime and compliance with customer SLAs
• The primary point of contact for the site Facilities Provider, supervising FM Services, Smart Hands & Security vendors as well as any other third-party vendors (including soft services) engaged directly by AirTrunk.
• Supporting the BSM in property related services

Please note, this role will be based in our data centre in Singapore.

Your Day to Day

Either a portion of the data centre site or a portfolio of customers will be allocated to each Technical Service Manager (TSM). The TSM then runs this sub-section of the site, reporting and raising issues/tasks to the STSM as required;

• Lead and manage all aspects of the planning and coordination of all preventive maintenance and repair works; OPEX budget, ensure change management, incident management procedures and safety requirements are followed; coordinate activities as required with customers
• Coordinate with the Development team to run construction activity and installations, to ensure system design, installation and testing adhere to operational standards
• Ensure adherence to site operating procedures (SOP, MOP, EOP, security) and any other documentation required by law, e.g. RA, SWMS and EHS
• Ensure compliance with site held accreditations, including, but not limited to, ISMS, ISO9001, ISO14001, SOC2, PCI.
• Maintain compliance with local regulatory requirements including environmental, building, fire, electrical, hydraulic, occupational health & safety
• Monitor and manage the performance of outsourced services vendors and contractors, including cleaning of plant, equipment, pipework and plant rooms, etc.
• Primary operational contact for customers and local point of escalation during emergency events and day-to-day operations. Issue reports, change and incident notices as when required.
• Attend witness testing of all equipment during commissioning to validate sequence of operations and receipt of all operational documentation
• Manage the provisioning of data centre services including connectivity, power services, deployment and any additional services to be delivered to customers
• Lead minor capital projects for customers/internal purposes
• Supervise operational metrics, data and analyse risks
• Conduct regular property inspections, including all critical facilities, building, fixtures, fitting which include concrete or structural elements and architectural finishing supporting by the Building Services Manager (BSM)
• Implement and administer inventory control programs/purchase parts and supplies

Requirements:

• 5+ years of mechanical and electrical experience in data centres (preferred), facilities, engineering operations, building monitoring systems, trades or related fields
• Excellent collaborator with strong communication skills in English
• Ability to establish and review Method of Procedure documents, maintenance reports, incident reports, emergency event summaries, root cause analysis reports, and O&M manuals
• Able to read and comprehend single line diagrams
• Ideally, successfully run 3rd party service providers and negotiate quote/pricing for services
• Familiar with working with Customer Portals, BMS, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems. CAD is a plus.
• Exceptionally flexible, forward-thinking and motivated by change
• Effective customer management skills and meeting chair experience
• Experience of LV WR2, HV WR2 and maintenance of fire service installation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transaction Monitoring

• Conduct review on alert generated from the Transaction Monitoring system within the stipulated timeline using various internal and external system/database and where applicable, raising a “Request for Information” (RFI) to the relevant Business Unit (BUs).
• Summarize, in writing, clear and concise findings of the review. Documenting and narrating the review findings with all supporting documentation within the alert of the Transaction Monitoring system.
• Ensure timely escalation to SG Compliance for suspicious transaction identified in the review via a complete “Escalation Memo”.
• Liaise with various units of the bank - SG Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), SG Compliance, BUs and Operations (including CADD) as part of the review process.
• To provide summary report on customer's transactions, including metrics and MI, as requested by SG Compliance or SG FCC.
• Support the retrieval of data for AML investigations by SG Compliance.
• Perform Quality Assurance ("QA”) on alerts to validate that transactions monitoring alerts were adequately reviewed and disposed timely, and potentially suspicious transactions were escalated, as warranted.
• Identify and support any process change initiatives to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the transactions monitoring process

Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Watch list Management (WLM)

• Perform 1st level checks on CDD alerts across all BUs for closure or assignment to BUs for further assessment.
• Create Manual CDD alerts arising from factors that are tracked outside the AML system.
• Perform 1st level checks for CDD related risk change requests from BU.
• Ensure all CDD request emails are addressed.
• Perform 1st level checks on daily WLM alerts (Name Screening) and ensure proper disposal of alerts.
• Upload relevant Lists in the AML system for CDD-risk scoring and for Name Screening.
• Undertake watchlist maintenance, including the uploading and/or removal of entries across various watchlists

Ad hoc duties

• Support client database searches for regulatory name search requests, as required by the Head of Financial Crime Compliance (FCC)
• Perform adhoc tasks, as assigned by Head of FCA and or the Head of FCC.

Overview of the Role

We are looking for an experienced clinical monitor to perform the study monitoring in ADVANcing Clinical Evidence in Infectious Diseases Network (ADVANCE ID). ADVANCE ID is jointly funded by the Wellcome Trust and Singapore institutions including the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. The vision of the Network is to improve public health by developing the clinical evidence base for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant infections. Its mission is to build and sustain a strategic clinical research network focused on most efficiently delivering locally relevant interventions for drug-resistant infections.

The Network aims to improve and strengthen clinical research capabilities in the region by acting as a platform to develop good principles and practices. It will stabilise capacity and capabilities to mitigate inefficiencies in trial start-up phase and loss of skillset following study closure, as in typical trial setup. The Network will continuously develop its capabilities, quality and efficiency by learning from and collaborating with other clinical trial networks.

In the long term, the Network aims to support broader infectious disease studies by expanding geographically beyond its original starting point in South East Asia and collaborating with other networks around the world. It will function as an active network that involves patients in platform trials, allowing for rapid clinical research response in the event of an emerging infectious disease or pandemic threat.

The monitor should be able to supervise study sites and activities to ensure adherence to appropriate study protocols and applicable regulatory requirement terms of the study.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct qualification visits (QV), site initiation visits (SIV), monitoring visits (MV) and termination visits (TV) at assigned clinical sites and generate visit reports.
• Monitor the progress of clinical study sites participating in a clinical study, and to assure the protocol is followed and data is reported accurately.
• Evaluate the quality and integrity of the reported data, site efficacy and investigational product (IP) management.
• Review the performance of the trial at designated sites, ensure the rights and well-being of human subjects are safeguarded and are in accordance with protocol.
• Develop patient recruitment strategies in conjunction with the clinical site to meet enrolment timelines, while also ensuring compliance with the approved standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocol/amendment(s), GCP, and the applicable regulatory requirement(s).
