Backed by a top corporate player in this space, we are looking for Commercial Leaders / Interim Leadership Team members to engage on the next phase of build and GTM for a newly developed AI SaaS platform in the maritime space.

This is a fantastic opportunity for 1x Sales Leader and 1x Customer Success Leader, with significant exposure to maritime tech and the dynamics within, to propel this product forward to pilot stage and in-market scale.

**Please note this is an initial contract role, with potential to convert to being part of the long-term leadership team after this phase of engagement**

The Role:

Leading on Sales and GTM for this new venture, you'll act as an integral part of the interim founding team on product-market-fit activities and getting the commercial wheels spinning. From securing first pilot customers and building out lead-gen, through to ensuring an incredible experience for the early stage adopters and establishing strong foundations for rapid scale.

Your impact will come from your deep maritime industry / domain insights with an entrepreneurial spike. You’ll be paired with Rainmaking APAC team member(s) with deep experience in shaping business models, investor relations and fundraising.

You will be embedded in this maritime project for ~6 months. At the end of this project, you may find that this venture is “the one” you’d be excited about being a long-term leadership team member of.

• Shipping Sector Expertise: you have experienced the highs and lows of scaling a business in the maritime / shipping technology arena. You bring significant insights across maritime products, services and market dynamics, ideally from within the SaaS space
• Commercial Depth: you bring proven experience in sales, customer success and/or senior account management in the maritime / shipping industry. Ideally you've sold SaaS products into owners and technical managers before and understand these sales cycles
• Entrepreneurial Edge: you know the key questions to ask, when, to really move the needle. You’re not afraid of pushing boundaries and can sit with discomfort and productive friction in order to create the most compelling business and proposition possible 
• Experimentation and Iteration: you have a track record of continuously testing and iterating. You implement rapid experiments to continuously tailor your approach to maritime sales and unlocking further commercial opportunities

Job Description:

• Manage and streamline the supply chain for plants and landscaping materials, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.
• Be responsible for the control, management and deployment of logistics assets and manpower across different departments and locations
• Recruit, hire, train, and schedule logistics staff and assets according to operational requirements, focusing on productivity improvement and cost reduction
• Schedule and oversee transportation of plants and supplies, optimizing routes and working with drivers to meet delivery deadlines
• Lead and develop a logistics team, providing guidance on best practices in handling plant and landscape supplies, as well as training on safety and logistics systems.
• Ensure that logistics assets are well-maintained, in good condition, and used effectively

• Forecast demand on logistics and plan accordingly
• Collaborate with sales and project teams to plan logistics based on client needs and project timelines.

• Arrange for, supervise and manage external logistics vendors as required
• Handle customer service enquiries pertaining to the fulfilment of customer deliveries
• Develop internal processes and SOPs to improve efficiency within the organisation
• Manage warehousing operations to improve overall efficiency of logistics function

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, horticulture or minimum of 3 years’ relevant industry experience
• Experience in logistics, preferable in plants or landscaping supplies
• Possess leadership abilities, able to lead own team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of plant handling
• Valid Singaporean Class 3 driving license is a must, experience with commercial vehicles a plus. Driving record should be clean with no major traffic infringements in recent times.
• Computer-savvy, working knowledge of logistics software (ERP) a bonus

Sales Manager (Marketing)

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of offline activations and being responsible for achieving sales targets and business objectives.
• Recruit, manage and train Moomoo offline sales brand ambassadors (BAs) to drive acquisition goals through various offline channels including but not limited to roadshows and events.
