What you will do:

• Build strong rapport with key client stakeholders and own the entire client lifecycle from successful onboarding, launch to ongoing relationship and/or engagement initiatives management, quarterly business reviews and driving business growth through renewals by increasing an account’s annual recurring revenue and in parallel, reduce risk of churn.

• Own and nurture operational relationships with partners and unblock the growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

· Lead the design and deployment of new IT systems and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.

· Manage the full software development life cycle (SDLC) implementation, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects.

· Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure successful project delivery.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met and risks are mitigated.

Documentation and Testing:

· Ensure proper documentation of business requirements, business scenarios, and test cases for System Integration Test (SIT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT).

· Oversee change management efforts, including effective communication and training for new application roll-outs.

Team Management and Development:

· Manage the IT team by recruiting, training, and coaching team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

· Communicate job expectations, appraise job performance, and propose skill development/upgrading plans for team members.

Vendor Management:

· Manage vendors and ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, including evaluating vendors' solutions and industry best practices.

· Develop proof of concept with vendors to test ideas and new IT technologies.

Strategic Innovation and Risk Mitigation:

· Analyse business requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders to develop innovative IT solutions.

· Re-engineer current business processes through strategic innovation of IT services and applications.

· Implement cost control measures through productive use of IT applications and services.

· Monitor IT systems' performance, identify risks and threats, and propose strategic solutions for risk mitigation.

Position Overview:

LRN is seeking a Client Success Manager to maintain relationships and ensure value delivery within our existing customer base. In this role, you will be one of two primary points of contacts for clients with the other being a delivery Project Manager. You will work closely with the Project Manager and other LRN teams to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the LRN solution set (library content, platform, bespoke learning solutions, and advisory consulting). You will be an ambassador for LRN by being a trusted strategic advisor to our clients, a strong customer advocate, and the link between LRN and our existing customer base.

The individual in this role will have the opportunity to:

• Acting as the strategic partner between LRN and several of our most important and strategic clients by building relationships with multiple contacts and buying centres
• Participating in the planning process with clients regarding the deployment and utilization of LRN’s licensed solution set
• Proactively analysing client health metrics, and usage of products and content, and recommending optimization and improvements as appropriate
• Executing on-going formal Program / Business Reviews with client stakeholders and sponsors
• Monitoring all account work streams and projects (i.e., working with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction

• Managing all commercial aspects of the relationship including contract amendments, recognition forecasting, statement of work, pricing, and service credits
• Grow existing accounts by finding new buyers and introducing new and/or enhanced LRN products/solutions to existing buyers
• Representing the voice of our clients to internal teams including sales, content and technology

Qualifications and skills:

• Minimum of three years of solid client-facing relationship or account management with experience retaining and expanding a book of existing accounts

• Exceptional relationship development and management abilities and a proven commitment to customer service
• Experience supporting individuals who are using a SaaS business application
• Ability to bring clarity, structure and discipline to a variety of situations and environments and experience working with complex projects
• Extremely effective written, oral, and presentation communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and a working knowledge of technology and system interfaces

• Familiarity with Salesforce.com
• Knowledge of Customer Success Management tools like Gainsight
• Knowledge of Ethics and Compliance learning space and/or working with learning platforms and solutions

Backed by a top corporate player in this space, we are looking for Commercial Leaders / Interim Leadership Team members to engage on the next phase of build and GTM for a newly developed AI SaaS platform in the maritime space.

This is a fantastic opportunity for 1x Sales Leader and 1x Customer Success Leader, with significant exposure to maritime tech and the dynamics within, to propel this product forward to pilot stage and in-market scale.

**Please note this is an initial contract role, with potential to convert to being part of the long-term leadership team after this phase of engagement**

The Role:

Leading on Sales and GTM for this new venture, you'll act as an integral part of the interim founding team on product-market-fit activities and getting the commercial wheels spinning. From securing first pilot customers and building out lead-gen, through to ensuring an incredible experience for the early stage adopters and establishing strong foundations for rapid scale.

Your impact will come from your deep maritime industry / domain insights with an entrepreneurial spike. You’ll be paired with Rainmaking APAC team member(s) with deep experience in shaping business models, investor relations and fundraising.

You will be embedded in this maritime project for ~6 months. At the end of this project, you may find that this venture is “the one” you’d be excited about being a long-term leadership team member of.

• Shipping Sector Expertise: you have experienced the highs and lows of scaling a business in the maritime / shipping technology arena. You bring significant insights across maritime products, services and market dynamics, ideally from within the SaaS space
• Commercial Depth: you bring proven experience in sales, customer success and/or senior account management in the maritime / shipping industry. Ideally you've sold SaaS products into owners and technical managers before and understand these sales cycles
• Entrepreneurial Edge: you know the key questions to ask, when, to really move the needle. You’re not afraid of pushing boundaries and can sit with discomfort and productive friction in order to create the most compelling business and proposition possible 
• Experimentation and Iteration: you have a track record of continuously testing and iterating. You implement rapid experiments to continuously tailor your approach to maritime sales and unlocking further commercial opportunities
