Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for M&E matters and facility maintenance
• Perform routine checks and troubleshooting of plant equipment
• Plan maintenance schedule for machines equipment, facilities and breakdown maintenance of the M&E Systems
• Discuss with contractor on machine matter or facility maintenance
• To highlight any follow-up actions from maintenance checklist
• Follow-up actions for yearly equipment and electrical licence application
• Respond to urgent/emergency situations
• Carry out scheduled weekly preventive maintenance and yearly equipment calibration
• Control chemical usage consumption and spare parts control
• Ensure good housekeeping at work areas

Requirements:

• NITEC or Higher Nitec in Mechanical/Electrical with at least three (3) years relevant experience
• Strong in problem solving/analysis
• Able to multi-task
• Able to work in cleanroom environment
• Able to work as a team player
• Possess positive work attitude with on-going learning mindset
• Proficiency in Computer literacy
• Understanding of welding knowledge will be an added advantage

Job Scope:

• Regularly assess cost-saving opportunities and ensure that pricing for goods aligns with current market rates, is efficiently sourced, and procured to maximize value for the business
• Lead accurate demand forecasting in collaboration with sales and marketing by monitoring and communicating forecasts, changes, inventory estimates, supply conditions, business risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Purchasing/Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is required
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience in purchasing, ideally within the FMCG sector, with a preference for food sourcing/purchasing
• Experience in overseas food importation, particularly in freight cost management, MOQ negotiation, and inventory control. Experience in meat and cheese imports is considered advantageous
• Knowledge of SAP software, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and Excel
• Proven track record of managing significant costs of goods with a strong motivation to deliver cost savings
• Excellent at guiding and mentoring team members to achieve accuracy in forecasts and inventory management
• Strong leader with good decision-making skills and the ability to multitask
• Demonstrated success in collaboration (cross-functional) and delivering results as a team contributor and coach

• Ensure all architectural works are carried out as per approved architectural drawings and specifications and all interface details with SWCs works are carried out as per CCSM and Reflected Ceiling Plans.

• Having experiences in LTA Project would be bonus and advantageous.
