Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement efficient delivery routes for B2B operations.
• Use Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to plan routes, assign deliveries, and track progress.
• Monitor driver performance and compliance with delivery schedules.
• Manage delivery exceptions and promptly resolve customer issues.
• Provide guidance and support to drivers regarding routes, procedures, and safety protocols.

Possess knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud native patterns, container management and cloud computing capabilities especially as offered by Azure.
Understanding Azure Defense-in-Depth security and auditing capabilities such as Azure Security Center, Sentinel, Monitor. Network Watcher, etc.
Understanding of the various IT infrastructures and application stacks.
Utilizing cloud security controls, network boundary controls, and related toolsets.
Understanding agile software development and ability to apply DevOps concepts such as Infrastructure-as-Code using Azure Resource Manager templates, CI/CD using Terraform, Azure Pipelines; and Configuration Management using Chef, and Ansible.
Working within customer requirements and advising customers on best practices while upholding customer service standards.
Experienced with scripting in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, and C#/. NET

Prefer to have one or more of the following technical certifications:

Accountant (6-month contract | European MNC)

Our client is a leading European MNC in the commodity trading industry.

This contract role handles the accounting activities in areas of GL, Fixed Assets and other accounting related areas.

Job Accountabilities:

• Manage and execute GL activities of assigned country to ensure that overall delivery of services is within agreed KPIs and SLAs.
• Responsible for timely and accurate financial and analytical reports to Manager, GL.
• Responsible for managing key stakeholders and internal customers including assigned country FD, FP&A teams, internal control teams, external auditors etc
• Ensure regular review and smooth and timely closing of accounts monthly, including identifying any unusual transactions and movements of account balances.
• Identify and follow up on areas of concern within the reconciliation, develops corrective action plans where needed and ensures accounts are in good standing.
• Ensure that good internal controls and GL practice are met in accordance with group policies.
• Actively participate in in digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives which may involve activities such as defining requirements, change impact assessment and UAT.

The ideal candidate is meticulous and is able to work effectively with guidance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, CA or CPA will be preferred

• Has working experience with the accounting system

• Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in an accounting role

• Prepare and post entries for month end closing.

• Install, configure, and maintenance of TCP/IP configurations/setup, Infoprint printer and terminals.

Job requirements

• At least 5-10 years of experience working with z/OS Mainframe VTAM (Virtual Telecommunications Access Method), SNA & TCP/IP, Infoprint and z/OS Unix environment including experience with REXX, COBOL, JCL, TSO/ISPF
• Understanding and support of enterprise encryption applications and processes such as TCPIP AT/TLS & SSL/TLS
• Implementation, configuration, and support of mainframe TCP/IP in a z/OS Parallel Sysplex environment
• Familiarity and support of 3rd party software e.g. Omegamon, LDAP, SSH, etc
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
