Role summary

The Manager (Corporate Communications) will support the senior management to review organisational-level strategies, including its business strategy, corporate strategy, and funding strategy. The candidate will also need to effectively communicate these strategies to internal and external stakeholders, including board members, donors and partners.

Experience and Skillsets

• Support senior management to develop and review organisational-level strategies. To do so, the candidate will have to conduct research and environmental scanning, and to synthesise the information in alignment with the organization’s strategies.
• Support senior management to develop and maintain thier suite of documents in relation to those strategies. To do this well, the candidate will need to keep abreast of thier work, understand how these relate to thier core business, and communicate this clearly.
• Manage thier annual corporate planning process, including organisation of annual planning retreat and board meetings. As part of this, the candidate will also support the senior management to prepare relevant documents (e.g. “year-in-review” update to the Board).

• Maintain the organization’s website by curating relevant content and – together with thier vendors, consultants and designers – implement updates and revamps (where relevant) to the website.

Competencies and Experience

The candidate should have the following competencies:

• Strong analytical capabilities. The candidate must be comfortable working with abstract concepts, and breaking them down into intuitive components.
• Able to synthesise information from myriad different sources and string together relevant information into coherent strategies and narratives.
• Write clearly and fluently in English. The candidate will need to adapt his/her writing style depending on the intended audience.
• Develop high quality presentations, especially with regard to narrative building, for use by senior management.
• Adaptability. As a small and entrepreneurial organisation, it is important for all CIG staff to take on new roles and responsibilities as the situation may require.

A suitable candidate would have had at least 3 years of experience in any of the following areas:

THE POSITION

Join the dynamic Corporate Account Payable (CAP) Team of our client, a multinational investment bank, based in Singapore, serving as subject matter experts for APAC countries. This role will handle daily client queries, operations, and corporate card matters.

Responsibilities:

• Address internal and external inquiries via group mailbox and helpdesk hotline.
• Manage Korea corporate card administration, from applications to cancellations.
• Research and address invoices in the queues.
• Coordinate with global support teams for investigation.
• Follow up on unapproved invoices, aging items, and weekly exposure reports.
• Process reimbursement claims in Concur, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Conduct monthly withholding tax filing for individuals.
• Perform quarterly VAT & Proxy Tax filing for the Korea office.
• Quarterly reconciliation and reclassification of cost centers post-tax payment.
• Manage corporate card refunds, reclassification, and adjustments.
• Follow up on unapproved/unassigned charges with cardholders.
• Provide adhoc training for employees.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma holder in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Economics or similar field
• Minimum 3 years of AP experience, preferably in shared services.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Korean as this role will be working closely with clients and vendors in Korea.
• Familiarity with Appian, Concur, and Oracle Cloud.
• Knowledge of Korea's tax system is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft products.
• Strong team player.
