PRIMARY FUNCTION

Reporting to the Accounting Assistant Manager (AR), this role is responsible for supporting accounts receivables operations to ensure accurate reporting and timely collections, as well as other accounting and month end closing activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process AR receipts and credit/debit notes
• Generate monthly statements of account and perform account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly AR aging report and follow up on outstanding payments
• Handle AR queries from customers & other departments
• Support month-end closing activities
• Support audit and tax-related activities
• Support process improvement and system enhancement projects as needed

The Position

Reporting to designated Team Lead or Manager of Corporate Secretarial team, you will be responsible for administration of a portfolio of clientele which includes private and public limited companies as well as foreign companies, particularly with regard to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. • Attend to auditors’ queries on behalf of clients and liaise with them in preparation for statutory audit
• Assistance in assessing work procedures, providing feedbacks/suggestions for improvements and implementing improvement process, where necessary
• Perform certain administration tasks pertaining to the clients or internal procedures

Your Profile

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in corporate secretarial practice. Holding or currently pursuing corporate secretarial qualifications (SAICSA) would be advantageous
• Meticulous individual with strong sense of responsibility, a good team player and able to work independently, pro-active client servicing aptitude and a commercial acumen
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of viewpoint will be an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
