Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Google Account Executive, you will help provide integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions. You will drive and grow new business with Google’s largest Global advertisers within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. You will manage C-level and executive business relationships to ensure both end-client and agency needs and requirements are met. You will serve as their advocate within Google while collaborating with other Google teams (e.g., Large Customer Sales, Cloud, Product, etc.) to provide them with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and options.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with a team to drive growth with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) customers. Build and grow long-term C-level relationships with regional client decision makers and their agency counterparts, to build and carry out digital strategies and optimize their advertising expenditures.
- Develop and manage global/regional joint Business Plans across Google products and service countries, and channels. Work with local Account Executives and team members.
- Develop scaleable solutions for clients to optimize their advertising expenditures and maximize their use of Google products (e.g., Search, Video, Display) including innovation opportunities with product teams.
- Cultivate, lead, and manage relationships with Large Customer Sales and Regional Client and agency teams.
- Collaborate with the broader Global Clients and Agency Solutions (GCAS) team and cross-functionally with other key partner teams to deliver against shared goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in advertising sales, business development, and/or an online media environment.
- Expertise in Google Ads solutions across YouTube, Display Network, and Search.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to manage stakeholders who speak Japanese and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with global brands or an external partner of them.
- Relevant experience in brand and full funnel digital marketing.
- Ability to communicate in both English and Japanese is preferred.
- Independent, self-starter: comfortable with ambiguity, flexible, curious, and resilient.
- Proven, demonstrable success of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Client-facing, consulting or agency experience. Experience in partner and stakeholder relationship management.
