Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented real estate lawyer to fill the position of Corporate Counsel – Real Estate and Colocation supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS), a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com. AWS is at the forefront of the "cloud" computing and service industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, and more.

Key job responsibilities
As part of the AWS real estate and colocation legal team, you will be responsible for supporting AWS's APJ data center expansion through land acquisitions, leases and licenses with services agreements. You will have transactional drafting and negotiating responsibilities on deals, and will provide legal counsel and contract interpretation to business team members on a daily basis. Transactions range from standard contracts to complex, bespoke, high value agreements. You will have excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and an eagerness to work closely with and be a trusted advisor to your business partners. In this role, you will structure, draft and negotiate agreements, help support AWS real estate and colocation’s existing portfolio, manage outside counsel, and advise internal business clients. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure assigned maintenance activities are carried out promptly.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and users.
