Job Description:

• Sourcing and communicating with suppliers to secure purchases and aim of converting them into partnership suppliers
• Negotiate optimal purchasing terms and conditions
• Generate Purchase order, report and maintain purchasing master data in system
• Analyse and determine the most suitable deal from various suppliers
• Bring in new leads and identify opportunities from new regions
• Develop and maintain relationships with current/ potential suppliers
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by reporting manager

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess either a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, and other relevant fields with minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experiences
• Well-equipped in Microsoft Excel Skills
• Good critical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Outspoken and good communication skills; able to communicate across departments
• Works well in fast-paced environment

About the job:

Responsible for providing corporate secretarial support (with the assistance of subordinate staff) to a portfolio of companies within the Hong Leong Group, Singapore (including at least one listed company entity) to ensure compliance with the applicable legislative/regulatory/listing requirements and maintenance of standards of corporate governance based on adopted best practices, such that the departmental objective of delivering corporate secretarial services with professionalism and efficiency is met.

Responsibilities:

Compliance

· Ensure compliance by companies within the portfolio with applicable statutory/regulatory/ listing requirements,

constitution and approved board/corporate governance policies.

Board Advisory

· Provide corporate secretarial support and advisory services to companies within the portfolio, especially to the

chairmen of the boards and board committees to enable a smooth functioning of board processes.

Corporate Secretarial Support

· Instruct team member/subordinate staff in the provision of services for routine and non-routine corporate

secretarial matters, or in the absence of subordinate staff, handle directly the routine and non-routine corporate

secretarial matters.

Corporate Secretarial Administration

· Instruct team members/subordinate staff in the handling of corporate secretarial administrative matters,

including the maintenance of up-to-date corporate registers and corporate database relating to the companies

within the portfolio, and the collation and management of information (whether for precedent or research

purposes) under assigned tasks

Requirements:

· Holder of CSIS (Chartered Secretaries Institute of Singapore) qualification

· Minimum of 8 years’ experience in corporate secretarial work and preferably with 3 years’ experience in an in-

house environment

· Inclusive of a minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate secretarial work for a listed company

· Have an understanding of board and management dynamics

· Ability to manage deadlines effectively

· Ability to work effectively both as a leader and a member of a team

· Good attention to details

· Good written (especially minutes writing) and verbal communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Integrity and discretion required for handling confidential information

Role Purpose Statement:

The incumbent would be responsible for Business generation for international Air cargo at TCI Express Pte Ltd.

Main Accountabilities:

Ø To Achieve Air cargo (import and export) business Target and QOQ PROFITABLE Growth.

Ø Hunting for new business and meeting sales target

Ø To find established corporate and SME customers.

Ø Prepare a target of key accounts and effectively establish Air products/ services on focused trade lanes.

Ø Develop a sales forecast vis-à-vis cost budgets & achievement of the same.

Ø Work on specific trade lanes and also on customers’ requirements.

Requirements:

Ø Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

Ø Experience of 5-7 in International Air Cargo / Freight forwarding industry.

Ø Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ø Excellent in Sales and marketing

Ø Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
