Your role

Do you have a sharp eye for detail? Are you known for hitting deadlines? We’re looking for someone like that to help us in:

• Monitoring and processing all corporate action and income events on a daily basis
• Liaising with Portfolio Managers for elections and communicating them to custodian banks
• Calculating cash and holding positions, post cash and stock transactions
• Ensuring that queries, exceptions and event reconciliation discrepancies are investigated and resolved
• Working effectively with the team towards achieving business goals
• Performing quality checks and controls

Your team

You will work in Corporate Actions Team in Singapore. Team is responsible for research and maintenance of Corporate Actions in APAC region, with a view to collecting Portfolio Managers’ responses, reflecting them in systems, instructing the custodians, posting cash and stock transactions in our accounting system and reconciling positions.

Working hours fall between 9:00 and 18:00.

• Experience of corporate action management / operational experience
• Previous client service experience and a strong ability to interact with and support client requirements
• Self starting team player
• Analytical and quantitative aptitude
• Adaptability to learn new tasks and demonstrate a willingness to understand the detail of a process.
• Control focused
• Understanding of process flows: Ability to look at the overall process and explain it to others.

You are:

• Very good in written and spoken English
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable in prioritizing workload and working under pressure, with tight deadlines

This will be a permanent position based in Outram.

Scope of Work

• Identify opportunities and build strategic & sustainable partnerships
• Create and promote workflows and processes to support partnership initiatives.
• Execute and implement partnership programmes
• Facilitate end-of-programme review
• Provide review feedback to internal stakeholders.
• Improve processes for partnership acquisition, development, retention, and satisfaction.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders
• Maintain and enhance relationships with partners.
• Be involved in the implementation of multi-agency collaboration projects with other government bodies and ministries.

Requirement

• Degree holder in Marketing, Business, or other related discipline.
• 10 years of working experience in partnerships management, customer engagement (B2B or B2C), business development, sales or marketing-related organisation (preferably at middle-management level) with 3 years of experience in managing teams.
• Able to build strong customer and stakeholder relationships at various levels.
• Able to guide teams to execute mid to large scale programmes and initiatives
• Excellent leadership skills to engage, motivate and work with team members
• Leadership experience in project and team management
• History of successfully developing, implementing, and executing partnership programmes or initiatives
• Experience in development of partnership proposal, operations planning, execution and management of project launches.
• Able to strategize with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to interact effectively with all levels of an organisation
• Have the political savviness to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
• Creative, resourceful and be results-oriented
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
• Multilingual will be advantageous.

Stewardship

• Work with beneficiaries on donor stewardship materials and events.
• Evaluate beneficiary data and liaise with relevant administrators to prepare donor stewardship materials.
• Prepare and coordinate correspondences for donor and gift stewardship.
• Work with external stakeholders on special projects, custom gifts and donor wall updates.
• Support the fundraising team in their efforts to effectively cultivate and steward donors through the Moves Management process.

Event Management

• Provide support and assist with the coordination of donor appreciation and engagement events.

Administrative

• Maintain and generate list of beneficiaries.
• Maintain administrative systems including filing and data entry.
• Provide administrative support in other assigned areas for the team.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of MS Office applications including MS Excel and Word.
• Preferred competency in creative software such as Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and work independently and in a team.
• Demonstrate resourcefulness and flexibility.
