1. GL accounting
a) Manage accurate GL transactions in ERP system
b) Ensure monthly bank reconciliations are done properly
c) Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement schedules
d) Maintain and manage proper fixed assets records and ensure depreciation is posted accurately
e) Support for Bank Guarantee/Letter of Credit documents, submit and liaise with banker
f) Assist HOD with month-end account closings, audit schedules, flux analysis of financial reports and any other ad hoc task assigned
g) Supervise and lead subordinate on handling GL/ AP payments, petty cash & claims. Ensure supporting documents, records and systems are checked and upload.
2. Assist interim/annual external audit and internal audit
a) Ensure strict internal controls and compliance with all local accounting, tax, statutory, legislative requirements as well as corporate policies.
b) Prepare documents for interim/annual audit & internal audit
c) Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agents, banks and other government agencies as and when necessary.
3. Assist for corporate tax, GST, withholding tax and Japanese expat tax
a) Draft corporate tax computation quarterly and annually
b) Draft Japanese expat tax computation annually
c) Prepare and submit quarterly GST and withholding tax to IRAS
d) Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
a) Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
b) At least 3 years of experience in handling full set of accounts independently
c) Experience in Microsoft Dynamic NAV is preferred
d) Possess good leadership skills, interpersonal communication skills.
