Job Description

• Maintain full set of accounts and manage all financial and accounting transactions.
• Administration of contracts database and project cost tracking
• Timely production of monthly management reporting package, including financial statements and relevant schedules.
• Prepare cash flow forecast, bank reconciliation and cash monitoring.
• Prepare quarterly GST reporting, reconciliation report and tax computation
• Prepare Annual Statutory Financial Statements and XBRL for the assigned portfolio of entities
• Involve in budgetary control, forecasting and other management accounting functions
• System and processes- assist in processes and system implementation when required; continue to streamline and automate tasks to ensure improvement and efficiencies
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or related roles (with staff and people management responsibilities).
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, with a positive learning attitude, able to work independently and operate in a fast paced environment.
• Experience in project management will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to accept and support changes
• Meticulous and adept in working under pressure and tight timelines
• Hands-on bookkeeping is preferred.

Scope

• The Accountant/Senior Account Executive, General Ledger (GL) is responsible for providing support to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial reporting for a portfolio of companies.
• Work closely with the rest of Finance team to ensure consistency and best practice is developed and maintained across the function, proactively driving the ongoing improvement of business practices and performance across Finance function.
• Support activities relating to general accounting and timely period-end closing and reporting in compliance with FRS, Group accounting policies and procedures and statutory requirements.
• Prepare financial & management reports and related analysis and commentaries.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for period-end closing activities such as GL Journal entries, bank reconciliation and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
• Prepare and perform review on Balance Sheet and P&L monthly schedules.
• Prepare monthly reporting package for group consolidation purpose.
• Tax reporting and compliance (e.g. GST/WHT/Corporate Income Tax).
• Support internal audit, statutory audit and related matters.
• Prepare monthly financial & management reports and the related analysis and commentaries.
• Support the preparation of the yearly budget. Perform financial analysis of actual results against budget/forecast.
• Responsible and maintain Fixed Asset Register and Inventory Register.
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures; provide trends and forecasts; explain processes and techniques; recommend actions.
• Improve on current processes, procedure and internal controls as required.
• Handle ad hoc assignments and projects as and when required.

Job Requirement

• Min. Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalents. ACCA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 3-4 years of accounting, general ledger experience.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is preferred.
• Prior experience as General Ledger Accountant/Senior Account Executive.
• Experience in financial analysis for business segments will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Handles AR and follow up with debt collections.
• Handles AP, prepare payments and manage cashflow forecast to ensure sufficient fund before making payments.
• Handles Intercompany transactions.
• Handles Inventories reconciliations.
• Manage balance sheet schedules and bank reconciliation, follow up closely with discrepancies.
• Work closely and functional support to the Regional Finance Manager on the month-end close and reporting in a timely manner.
• Support Regional Finance Manager in audit, corporate tax, GST, transfer pricing and company secretarial matters.
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local FRS and compliance to internal policies.
• Assist in SAP implementation.

Requirements:

• Degree / ACCA / Diploma in Accountancy related qualifications
• Proficient in SAP
• At least 2-3 years AP/AR/GL regional accounting experience (handling local & overseas subsidiaries) preferably in corporate MNCs
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work fast-paced working environment and meet deadline.
• Meticulous in handling figures and able to perform well under minimal supervision.

Other Information:

• Working Days/Hours: Mon – Fri, 830am to 530pm
• Location: Near One North MRT
• 6 months renewable contract (depending on performance/business needs)

Innovate 360 is looking for an Accountant to manage and report financial data for the company. The ideal candidate will oversee full-set accounts, assist with management reporting, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Reporting to the CFO/CEO, the Accountant will play a key role in financial operations, supporting the company's growth and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare Full Set Accounts, including multi-currency accounts, in a timely manner.
2. Ensure timely and accurate Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) monthly reporting.
3. Manage credit control, including bad debt tracking, reconciliation, and collections.
4. Prepare and manage payroll processes and CPF submissions.
5. Handle quarterly GST submissions.
6. Prepare financial reports, including Costing Reports, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
7. Oversee inventory management, control, and reconciliation.
8. Support the Finance Manager in Risk Management and Due Diligence activities.
9. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries to ensure compliance.
10. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
