Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records and transactions in the accounting system.
  Reconcile bank statements and other financial statements.
  
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  Assist in the preparation of financial statements for external audits.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CPA or CMA certification is a plus.)
  
• Experience: 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
  Experience with [specific accounting software, e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle] is desirable.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Perform AR,AP,GL accounting functions, such as daily accounting processing, reconciliation, financial reporting, etc.
• Complete monthly and annual financial statements on time, issue financial reports.
• Responsible for bank reconciliation.
• Assist finance manager to complete relevant analysis report.
• Pay attention to cash flow, and complete monthly and annual cash flow forecast and analysis.
• Collaborate with various departments.
• Assist finance manager to complete other tasks.

Qualifications & experience

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5years of experience in accountancy and finance.
• Financial experience in manufacturing is a plus.
• Prior audit experience is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Quickbook and ERP (Synergix) systems is a plus.
• Proficient in reading and writing in Mandarin, as liaison with our China Finance Department.

• Responsible for full set of accounts (AR, AP and GL) and analytical review of variances
• Prepare bank reconciliation and monthly schedules
• Prepare quarterly forecast and monthly cashflow projection
• Prepare annual budget
• Prepare quarterly GST returns and assist with corporate income tax and property tax
• Prepare statutory financial statements
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agent, trustee and external service providers
• Any ad‐hoc projects and assignments as assigned

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent
• 3 to 4 years of relevant accounting and/or audit experiences in a similar position
