DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• MANAGE THE DAILY GUEST SERVICES OPERATIONS: CONCIERGE, BELL SERVICE, DOOR SERVICE, PARKING VALET, NIGHT RUNNERS

• Leading the direction and supervision of all Guest Services duties are performed and maintained in accordance with the hotel’s standards and in line with hotels’ strategic plan
• Manpower planning, recruitment, training, deployment
• Liaison between Front Office departments and rest of hotel for effective guest experience

  • Handles capital and asset planning, requisition
  • Responsible for budgeting, planning and forecasting of yearly and monthly revenue and expenditure for areas of responsibility
  • Identify equipment and supplies needs and negotiate with vendors for the best quality at competitive pricing
  • Responsible for issuing, monitoring and negotiating all contracts, agreements and billings involving the department’s areas of responsibility
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, reviewing and conducting training & CCTV audits in accordance with the hotels’ overall training and service development plan

• Prepare management, statutory, and other reports as required by the Board and Committees or pursuant to applicable regulations.
• Coordinate audits, ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
• Support in cash flow management, providing projections for planning to optimise working capital gains.
• Set and monitor annual budgets and expenses.
• Administer financial systems, maintaining their accuracy and functionality.
• Collaborate with other teams to optimise budgeting, cost monitoring, and control, and oversee budgets of special projects when necessary

Governance Development and Oversight (40%):

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Charities Act, Charities (IPC) Regulations, Societies Act, and Code of Governance for Charities & IPCs.
• Prepare reports and minutes for the board, selected committees and General meetings, as may be required.

Human Resource Policies and Administration (10%):

• Ensure compliance with MOM and relevant laws and regulations
• Implement and oversee compensation and benefits frameworks.
• Manage staff recruitment, engagement, and payroll administration.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with vendors to ensure the proper management of insurance, IT, and data management systems.
• Undertake additional ad hoc tasks as required by the Executive Director.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, preferably with professional accounting certification
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant managerial experience
• Experience in HR and charities governance is advantageous, with a preference for candidates who have sector-specific experience
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic management of DP World’s rights and benefits within current partnerships, ensuring we extract maximum value and visibility in each engagement.
• Understand DP World’s objectives and identify high-impact opportunities with event organizers and rights holders throughout the APAC region.
• Work closely with globally recognized communications, sports, and experiential agencies to deliver seamless, integrated engagement across all events and partnerships.
• Coordinate logistics and communications for executive spokespersons, ensuring all speaking engagements reflect DP World’s brand and values.
• Prepare concise briefing papers and organize subject-matter meetings to equip senior leaders with insights and data for successful engagement.
• Lead the creation of impactful messaging, coordinating photographers, videographers, and other creatives to bring our brand to life at every opportunity.
• Develop insightful wrap-up reports, ensuring key teams have the necessary information for media, internal communications, and digital channels.
• Align all outputs with DP World’s global brand strategy, covering partnerships in sport, B2B, experiential, and merchandising.
• Manage a robust merchandise program to build and maintain a strong brand presence across the region.
• Foster close, effective communication with global C-suite executives, regional communications teams, and external partners including rights holders, conference organizers, and agencies.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree with 15+ years of experience in managing rights and benefits, developing impactful communication and activation plans.
• A process-driven mindset and a proven track record in project management, with a proactive and positive approach.
• A self-starter who excels under pressure, adept at prioritizing multiple projects, taking initiative, and achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, comfortable working with diverse cultures and across all levels, including senior leadership.
• Strong budget management abilities and experience working with multiple agencies.
• An outstanding communicator (both written and spoken English), with an integrated view on storytelling and a keen understanding of leveraging content across paid, owned, and earned channels.
• Fast, efficient, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to quality and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• A hands-on approach, willing to tackle tasks of any size to ensure success.
• Flexibility in working hours and travel to accommodate the role’s demands.
• Industry knowledge is a plus, but not essential.
