This position is responsible for the planning and direction of the workers and resources of the restaurant for the efficient, well-prepared, and profitable service of food and beverages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall responsible for the administration and operations of several restaurant outlets under one restaurant brand.

• Work with chefs and other personnel to plan menus that are flavourful and popular with customers. Work with chefs for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies. Estimate food and beverage costs. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste. Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high-quality preparation and service.

• Work with other management personnel to plan marketing, advertising, and any special restaurant functions.

• Direct hiring, training, and scheduling of food service personnel.

• He/she is to implement all standardized procedures, rules, and regulations systematically in order to be in line with company standards and policies

• Ensure proper working condition of all outlet equipment and prepare equipment defect list

• Safe keeping of company properties

• Ensure proper daily sales deposit

• Ensure outlet cleanliness upkeep according to NEA requirement

• Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.

• Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs using the Point of Sales system.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Min GCE ‘N’ level or equivalent with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

The Creative Designer will be part of a close-knit team to assist in the conceptualisation and implementation of fresh, inventive design solutions and powerful graphic visuals that form an integral part of immersive interactive experiences.

You will have authority in design decision making, strong visual communication skills, industry experience and understanding of real world environments. You will be expected to give art direction on projects and interface with clients directly on design-related queries, demonstrating a high level of professionalism.

As part of an experience creation team, you are encouraged to seek out new products and maintain cutting edge industry knowledge relative to 2-dimensional design, printing techniques, interactive programming, and experiential opportunities in your job role.

Requirements

• Diploma in Arts or Design or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an in-house creative department or design firm
• Highly proficient in Adobe software such as Photoshop & illustrator
• Experience in multi-media, 3D programs such as Cinema 4D, MAYA as well as licensing products will be an added advantage
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills and experience design thinking.
• Knowledge of printing procedures, photography, illustration, and verbal and written communication.
• Strong conceptual skills, high-level sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutions.

Skills/Competencies:

• Ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to solve problems through design and understand the live experience space.
• Ability to communicate concepts and iterate on designs, and work collaboratively with other members of the events team, product teams, and agencies in order to develop the most efficient design schemas.

Responsibilities:

- Handle sales inquiries with quality leads provided

- Discuss and propose design adhering to clients’ requirements and needs - Provide quotation and space planning

- Design conceptualization, advisory on materials, colors, texture, etc to clients

- Site & project management from inception to handover

- Plan project schedule efficiently to meet clients’ deadlines

- Build rapport and work closely with sub-contractors and own workers to ensure quality and smooth deliveries

- Project management/site coordination arrangement and schedule the respective contractors & suppliers.

Requirements:

- Competent knowledge and passion for excellence in design

- Site and project management experience

- Working knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL spreadsheet software

- Knowledge of Photoshop, Sketchup, AutoCAD would be advantageous

- Preference for candidates who are bilingual

- Creative thinking, innovative, confident & positive working attitude

- Great sense of ownership and responsibility
