Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of staff that handle account reconciliation for Mortgage, Auto and Renovation Loans
- Perform investigations on any reconciliation break and work with the Line Operations to rectify the imbalance transactions.
- Perform GLAO reconciliation and KRI reporting.
- Manage the team effectively to maintain, ensure all reconciliation are done daily and rectification of the imbalance made timely.
- Facilitate communication within workplace in order for the team to function correctly and promote collaboration within team members and the Line operations
- Support all management reporting. e.g. MTK, KRI, productivity metric, GLAO and any adhoc survey/reporting
- Own & manage all staff issues, customer servicing issues and risk & control.
- Guide & lead the team to accept & adapt to changes.
- Ensure proper documentation of new process or change of process and proper training done to all staff
Requirement
- Degree holder in Business and Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management or related disciplines preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in financial institutions (Credit Operations)
- Experience leading team will be highly desirable for this role
- Those with Mortgage Loans experience will be an added advantage
- Good organizational skills with demonstrated ability in managing operations
- Sound knowledge of consumer banking products/services and respective end-to-end operation workflows for best in class services delivery
- Knowledge of Process Improvement Toolkit and metrics/measurement
- Good understanding of operational risks.
- Meticulous with eye for details
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task and take on different types of roles and activities at the same time
