Key Responsibilities:

1. Career Readiness Assessment:

· Evaluate and profile learners based on their career goals, skills, and industry interests.

· Maintain up-to-date records of learner profiles for targeted career support.

· Identify suitable learners for freelance Classroom Support roles and other job opportunities and extend invitations.

2. Career Assistance Workshops and Sessions:

· Plan and deliver career workshops focused on job readiness, resume building, and interview preparation.

· Organize one-to-one career advisory sessions, providing learners with personalized guidance to support their learning and career development journey.

3. Engagement and Career Outcome Tracking:

· Track learner participation and engagement in career services activities.

· Monitor and report on career outcomes, including job placements and learner progression.

· Provide follow-up support to ensure learners achieve their career objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Minimum educational attainment of Diploma.

· Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Proficient in both written and oral communication.

· Experience in career services, talent development, or workforce planning.

· Familiarity with resume building, interview techniques, and career development strategies.

· Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and tailor services to meet individual needs.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Perform the repair, maintenance, or overhaul of marine diesel engines 2 & 4 stroke under the supervision of Engineer / Technicians.

· Comply with all the requirements to carry out the jobs in the shipyards or anchorages.

· Lifting and shifting heavy components of engine back to the workshop for repair/reconditioning and vice-versa.

· Ensure prompt response and smooth communication with the customers

· Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Operation Manager

Job Requirements:

· Relevant marine / mechanical / engineering qualification

· Hands-on experience in trouble-shooting, maintenance and repair is an added advantage

· Candidates with no experience may apply as apprentices as training will be provided

Biosearch Technologies is currently recruiting for a field service engineer II to join us in providing front-line technical support to our repertoire of genomics platform and consumables as described above.

With a focus on always putting customers first, our Field Service Engineer is expected to work closely with our regional customer base to ensure maximum equipment uptime, software optimal utilization, training and troubleshooting functions. 

Field Service Engineer is expected to be a role model and poise to mentor and develop junior service engineers on the day-to-day activities, coaching sessions and able to report and assign task to juniors and self and provide reports back to global service leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong service support rapport with regional key account customers in APAC.
• Site Preparation; instrument Installations; training; troubleshooting, preventative maintenance as core task
• Facilitating service contract proposals and tracking as and when required.
• Function as an integral part of a wider global support team to offer “In Time zone 24/7” emergency service support call and troubleshooting assistance as and when assigned with urgent breakdown call with overnight travel either regionally or globally.

• This position is responsible to effectively communicate instrument status, issues, and customer complaints and needs to appropriate managers and internal resources.  Will be responsible to proactively take ownership and follow-through with generated issues or complaints reported from themselves, as assigned, or from junior service engineers.
