1. Job Purpose

Patient Service Associate is to manage and provide frontline patient services such as patient admission, in-flight / discharge billing consultation, modes of payment consultation, general enquiries handling, birth registration and cashiering.

1. Duties and Responsibilities
2. Primary duties and responsibilities (80%)
   

- Pre-Admission Administration

- Works with Bed Management Unit (BMU) to monitor the availability of beds for elective inpatients prior to admission.

- Coordinates with the doctors / Specialist Outpatient Clinics to manage patients when elective admissions are cancelled

- Admission Administration

- Conducts financial counseling for admitting patients to explain on the charges are derived and how the bills would be financed.

- Assists the patients to complete the various modes of payment forms.

- In-flight / Discharge Administration

- Assists patients / next-of-kin to understand the bills and settle the outstanding payment.

- Assists needy patients by referring them to Business Office / Medical Social Workers Department for financial assistance schemes.

- Works with PSC’s Bill Monitoring Team (BMT) to manage patients’ outstanding bills.

- Handling of General Enquiries

- Assists patients / next-of-kin / general public on general / non-clinical / non-medical issues over the counters / telephone.

- Administration Work

- Performs IP Tagging function.

- Performs posting of charges for in-flight patients.

- Performs settlement for NETS / Credit Card transactions daily.

- Performs proper handover to Finance Department daily.

- Reply to the primary email daily.

- Birth Registration

- Assists informants to register the newborn’s birth application.

- Collects the payment for the birth registration services.

- Administrates the Baby Bonus Forms and collates the relevant statistics as required by ICA.

1. Secondary roles and responsibilities (20%)
   

- Rotational Duties

• A&E Admission Management Duties
• Processes A&E files of patients who are just warded.
• Follows-up with emergency in-patients on modes of payment as soon as they are admitted.
• Meeting Secretariat Duties
• Performs as meeting secretariat for PSC Team Leaders.
  Performs as meeting secretariat for PSC Staff Meetings.
  
• Training / Coaching Duties
• Conducts Ancillary Induction Program (AIP) training for the hospital’s new hires on rotational basis.
  
• Stationeries Ordering Duties
• Performs ordering of stocks for the entire PSC.
  Monitors the stock level for the entire PSC.
  

- System Testing Duties

• Involves as a user to assist PSC Management in testing enhanced features of the various computer systems.
  

- Performs daily housekeeping of the reception areas and workstations, in order to maintain a professional image and neatness of the work place

- Guides new hires on the SOPs and workflows.

- Takes a proactive role in participating in internal PSC projects.

- Performs ad-hoc duties as directed from PSC Management.

3. The Requirements

- GCE ‘A’ Level or Diploma Holder.

- Proficient in writing, communication and presentation skill.

- Good knowledge in computer.

- A pleasant personality with good working attitude.

- Able to work independently.

Job Description

• Primarily assists the sales team, focusing mostly on managing schedules and the distribution of any sales documentation.
• Able to efficiently respond to customer any e-mail or telephone queries in a calm and friendly manner.
• must liaise between other internal departments or Vendors and the customer to provide the service most suitable to the client’s needs and time restraints.
• Must also be able to work closely with the Sales team to assess the progress of the production department and develop Sales strategy accordingly.

Qualification / Requirement

• Degree or Diploma with 2 to 3 years of working experience in Semiconductor or related field preferred. Also any other qualifications relating to Sales or Marketing is an advantage.
• A Customer Account Executive must be organized and possess a high level of administration ability to effectively manage paperwork.
• Due to the volume of communication that will be required with client, the Customer Account Executive must possess excellent client service skills.

Salary: Up $2700 + $100 Transport Allowance + AWS + VB + Incentives

Duration: 2 Years Contract Extendable/Convertible to Perms

Working Days/Hours (depend on assignment):

• 5-day work week shift work, required to work on weekends
• 8.00am – 5.30pm / 8.30am – 6.00pm, off on PH

Responsibilities:

• Attend to enquiries, primarily incoming calls through the hotline or other channels such as email
• Understand customer’s needs and provide quick, accurate and satisfactory answers to their queries
• Point to point enquiries from customer
• Perform out bound calls to customers who leave callback
• Ensure proper recording of conversation with customer in the call centre system
• Meet/exceed all individual and team key performance indicators (KPI) set by the management
• Maintain a positive and helpful approach in interactions with all customers
• Able to work during weekend and perform OT when necessary
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by Team Leaders or Supervisors

Requirements:

• Have previous experience in Call Centre is highly preferred or Customer Service experience
• A team player with good interpersonal and communications skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Lead, Infrastructure Specialist (Service Desk & Deskside Manager with PABX System Expertise)

Position Overview:

The DWS Integration Leader/Lead, Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for overseeing both the service desk and deskside support teams, ensuring efficient and effective technical support services for end-users and stakeholders. This role requires specialized expertise in PABX system, including maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

· Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to both the service desk and deskside support teams.

· Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions to ensure high-performance standards.

Service Desk and Deskside Operations:

· Manage the day-to-day operations of the service desk and deskside support teams, ensuring timely resolution of support tickets and service requests.

· Monitor service desk metrics and KPIs, as well as deskside support activities, to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.

· Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes and enhance efficiency across both support channels.

Continuous Improvement:

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service desk and deskside support.

· Identify opportunities for process optimization, and technology enhancements to improve service delivery and reduce manual effort.

· Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to IT support and telecommunications.

PABX System Expertise:

· Serve as the SPOC for PABX-related inquiries and issues, collaborating with vendors and internal teams as needed.

· Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for PABX system users and support personnel.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· Proven experience (10 years) in IT support roles, with 5 years of experience in managerial or supervisory positions.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic environment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

· Understanding of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL. Certification in ITIL required.

· Experience with service desk tools, deskside support techniques, and PABX systems.

· Healthcare experience preferred.
