Job Description

• Execution and monitoring of requests for manual interaction in the different systems using OPC (z/OS) and AWA-Automic scheduling tools.
• Ensures that availability & reliability for the relevant production applications are maintained.
• Perform day to day operational activities which included periodic system checks, IPLs, Start/End of day procedures, system health checks etc.
• Global coordination to implement follow-the-sun model, participating in the shifts handover and keeping track of the main events of the shift in the team sharepoint.
• Collaboration on releases, key date changes, disaster recovery tests, etc.
• Early escalation of Incidents to the responsible team and Incident Management organization, according to the applicable Incident Management process and available instructions.
• Global collaboration with L2 and L3 responsible of the critical applications.
• Provides on-call support for the production environment.

The Successful Applicant

• Mainframe z/OS experience as an Operator
• Experience in JCL and Batch Scheduling
• Atleast 5 years of experience in IT Service Control/Operations
• Exposure to technical requirements analysis, planning, configuration management, and hands-on technical skills
• Basic knowledge of regulatory TRM guidelines and of ITIL concepts
• AWA scheduling tool experience is ideal
• Conscientious in ensuring defined SLAs are met
