Job Description:
Arrange logistics and prepare tools for component replacement or repair work, calibration, and servicing of safety-related equipment.
Perform maintenance, servicing and calibration of safety-related equipment
Carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with preventive maintenance schedule.
Comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, procedures and regulations when carrying out work.
Create work orders to document repairs.
Highlight areas of non-compliance to supervisor for follow-up.
Monitor status of equipment after repairs.
Propose workflow improvements to improve efficiency.
Reinstate machine and equipment back to operation to reduce downtime.
Schedule equipment for repair, fault finding and troubleshooting.
Ensure servicing area is clean and tidy at all times.
Any other ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by Management.

Requirement:
Able to work effectively and efficiently individually and in a team
Candidate must possess at least Secondary School/"O" Level or equivalent
Possess valid class 3 driving licence
Good eyesight and familiar with roads in Singapore
Hardworking, responsible and self-driven

Summary

This position is responsible for addressing inquiries and feedback from guests and various channels. Ensuring that VIPs and CIPs are assigned appropriate rooms and that their accommodations are satisfactory prior to their arrival.

Responsibilities

· Handling of Reception / Front Desk duties including but not limited to checking-in and checking-out of hotel guests.

· Provide courteous and efficient service to all hotel guests.

· Ensure that all telephone calls are handled promptly.

· Be familiar with all room types and rates in the hotel and their availability status; so as to up-sell whenever possible.

· Handle cashiering functions and adhere to the hotel’s Standard Policies & Procedure.

· Take ownership of problems, handle guest complaints promptly according to established procedures and then report to the supervisor for further follow up where necessary.

· Be familiar with hotel facilities and functions as well as major city attractions and events so as to provide guests with accurate information as requested.

· Ensure a professional and courteous working relationship and maintain an effective flow of communication with all hotel personnel.

Requirements

· A minimum Diploma qualification in any field.

· Relevant work experience will be duly considered.

· Willing to work rotating shifts.

· Positive attitude with an outgoing personality and good communications skills.

· Preferred experience in the hospitality industry along with familiarity of the Opera system.

•Carry out site installation assistance, start-up, testing and commissioning of compressor and dryer units.
•Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of air compressors and refrigeration dryers and equipment in relation to mechanical, electrical and pneumatic system.
•To attend service calls and routine servicing at customer site as well as to assist in supervision of production process with minimum breakdown occurrence.
•To prepare and submit repair and maintenance quotations pertaining to service and spare parts sales.
•To plan and coordinate individual service jobs weekly and daily.
•To conduct technical training to customers as necessary.
