To strengthen our regional office in Singapore, we are seeking a new After-Sales Service Technician Asia / Asia Pacific (M) to manage our portfolio of over 350 installations across Asia. Reporting to our Technical Director in Singapore, your role will be to ensure high client satisfaction, manage installations, oversee machine maintenance, provide online and on-site support, and act as the primary contact for technical issues.
As part of the "BERTIN MEDICAL WASTE" Business Line, a global leader in biological waste management equipment for hospitals with its Sterilwave product line, your main responsibilities will include:
· Equipment Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission equipment for clients throughout Asia.
· Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to distributors and clients across Asia.
· Distributor Training: Deliver training to distributors both online and on-site.
· Customer Feedback Interface: Relay client feedback and technical issues to the Bertin Engineering team.
· Maintenance Procedures: Draft maintenance procedures for our equipment.
· Dashboard and KPI Monitoring: Maintain dashboards and monitor key performance indicators.
· Failure Tracking: Document interventions, analyze recurring issues, and plan future maintenance.
· Operator Training: Train operators on best practices for usage and basic maintenance.
· Stock Management: Ensure adequate stock of critical spare parts with distributors.
· Reporting and Continuous Improvement: Provide regular reports and suggest maintenance improvements.
· Software Updates: Execute software updates and adjust parameters as required.
· Compliance: Ensure safety and hygiene standards are upheld during all interventions.
Travel across Asia is expected, up to 50% of the time, to meet with distributor technical teams and deliver essential training to support our global expansion. This position is based in Singapore (Chinatown / Telok Ayer).
Profile
· Singaporean or Permanent Resident only
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within industrial equipment support, ideally in an international setting
· Fluent in English; additional Asian languages are a plus
· Willingness to travel across Asia for machine follow-up – up to 50% of the time
· Resourceful, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently alongside distributor technical teams
· Strong technical skills in mechanics, automation, and electrotechnics
· Team-oriented, excellent communicator, and diligent in reporting
· Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
