The Assistant Manager, Capella Connects & Reservations provides guests, hotels, and fellow team members with exceptional customer service during call reservation process. The individual also supports the training needs of the department and manage department’s performance.

The Role

Call Center Operations

• Provide responses while anticipating and recognizing individual guest needs
• Answer questions regarding hotel facilities and services, airline partnerships, local attractions, directions, etc
• Pass on requests in a timely and accurate manner to appropriate colleagues
• Process in-room dining food orders with accuracy and efficiency

Hotel Reservations

• Enter all room sales booking on a timely basis
• Monitor team's compliance with property's standards and procedures for reservation operations

Manage Team

• Manage department’s performance to ensure guests' queries and requests are addressed in a timely and effective manner

Talent Profile

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in similar capacity at a luxury hotel

The Laboratory of Applied Human Genetics at the National Cancer Centre Singapore is a multi-disciplinary laboratory with specific focus on peritoneal malignancies and sarcoma. The direction of our laboratory is to solve real world clinical problems via sound scientific translation. Since the conception of our laboratory 7 years ago, we have now set up three scientific pillars of Therapeutics, Companion Diagnostic and CAPTIVATE (Target Generation) pipeline. Currently, we are working towards a first-in-human therapeutic developed in our laboratory. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Fellow to work with a team of researchers in the area of cancer therapy for advanced metastatic cancers. • Provide on-site frontline concierge service
• Provide on-site support for room and AV/IT systems management
• Support with provision of office supplies and employee indents through vending and parcel locker machines at the three primary locations when needed.
• Provide administrative and operational support for the daily topping up and up-keeping of pantries located at various floors across three primary locations.
• Manage the daily operations of the gym, including timely follow-ups on any maintenance works required to the infrastructure.
• Provide administrative support and content to drive the monthly promotion
• Provide administrative and operational support to plan, organise and conduct up to two monthly complimentary employee-related initiatives to improve employee productivity across the three buildings, such as sourcing and deployment of food trucks.
• Provide on-site wayfinding/assistance (e.g. lost-and-found) for public visitors at the Public Concierge, the proposed manpower will escalate the service requests/status enquiries/feedback to the middle office via the Employee Relationship Management System (ERMS) for case resolution
• Provide logistics and AV support for events organised within the three primary locations when needed.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business Management or relevant discipline
• Strong service excellence mind-set
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software/applications (e.g. Excel) will be advantageous

Job Description
The Executive will assist the Operations Manager in managing daily operations and planning manpower to drive operational excellence in the Nursing Home. This includes ensuring that the Nursing Home is in compliance with all regulatory, licensing, safety, and environmental requirements.

In addition, they will also have the opportunity to lead, train, supervise, and mentor staff in areas such as Facilities Management, Repair and Maintenance, Fire Command Centre, and Transportation sections of the Operations department.
- Identify and perform necessary maintenance on buildings and facilities
- Conduct inspections periodically to evaluate the maintenance condition to identify necessary corrective actions
- Report any deficiencies as they occur and request emergency or routine service
- Oversee and manage the appointed contractors to ensure that they conform to the required standards
- Manage the process of contracts, raise Purchase Order(PO) and activate the renewal when due
- Responsible for administrative duties, including developing and maintaining operating procedures, verifying invoices, monitoring expenses, and assisting in budget exercise
- Oversee fire safety measures in the nursing home
- Participate and support work process improvement and technology enhancement projects
- Manage and supervise a team of operations assistants inclusive of recruitment, discipline and performance appraisal
- Ensure that the facilities team is in compliance with workplace safety standards
- To ensure management of the outsource vendor does schedule servicing in a timely manner and submits a service report to MOHH iham before the timeline
- Other duties as assigned
