• Lead and coordinate projects (project support and change request). Provide analytical support and execute requirement analysis to support system enhancement, fixes, and emergency application changes deployment.
• Highlight and escalates risk issues to relevant parties in a timely manner; Participate in system restoration for Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Coordinate regular meetings for issues resolution with developers/vendors; Perform other duties as and when assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Min. 4 years of work experience in the Application or System Support function, preferably in a bank or financial institution.
• Possess hands-on experiences in supporting Payment systems.
• Experience in Enterprise Application support environment with interaction to multiple function (developer, infrastructure and service desk) and business users.
• Has functional knowledge of Payment systems such as GIRO, FAST, CTS, MEPS+, Overseas & Domestic Remittance, Internet Banking, customer eAdvices.
• Has technical knowledge on Application hosted in both Windows and LINUX, able to perform database query (SQL Server, Oracle) and handling application services under Windows and LINUX services.
• Possess good understanding and competency in scripting (such as DOS, Shell Scripting)

Key responsibilities

· To provide quality day-to-day L2 Production support for Java/Web-based application.

· To coordinate and support infrastructure maintenance activities.

· To manage implementations of new application releases, adhering to the best practices of the release management process.

· To work with various partners such as Peer Application Teams, Infrastructure, Vendors, Security and Change teams, to provide seamless support for the business.

· To manage Production issues by responding in a timely manner in accordance to the Service Level Agreement with the Business.

· To enhance existing support process to maintain/improve service level & quality.

Skills and Experience Required: -

At least 2 years working in an L2 Application Support Environment.

Mandatory/Core technical competency required:

Linux; Unix Shell Scripting

SQL (MYSQL/MSSQL)

OpenShift/Docker

Good to have experience:

· AngularJS

· ActiveMQ

· Elastic Search

· Application Monitoring Tools

· CI/CD (Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment)

· Python

· Microservices concept

· Experience in application implementation projects in financial institutions would be advantageous.

Working Hours (Shift Timing)

· Morning shift 6am to 3pm

· General shift 9am to 6pm.

· Afternoon shift 2pm to 11pm

· Night shift 10pm to 7am.
