The Enterprise Security Platforms (ESP) team is - amongst other things - responsible for developing and engineering the Firm?s core security controls. We are looking for highly skilled programmers with experience building applications in Java. Java Developers are responsible for analyzing user requirements and business objectives, determining application features and functionality, and recommending changes to existing Java-based applications, among other duties. Responsibilities
- Analyze communicated requirements and come up with tech design.
- Research, develop tech solutions based on communicated requirements and tech design
- Enhance existing ESP security solutions prioritized based on client feedback, issues on PROD, internal discussion etc.
- Create automated testing for the solutions developed.
- Create documentation/support procedures and assist operation/SRE team for operational work.
- Enforce software SLDC in the development circle.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Qualifications

Technical Skills Required
- Familiar with core Java/J2EE technologies.
- Experience of using open source frameworks like Spring Framework
- Familiar with test driven development methodology.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like (GIT, Jenkins, Team City)
- Experience of using relational database, like JDBC, SQL, Store Procedure.

Desired Skills
- Experience of using scripting language. e.g. Python, Shell, Regular expression
- Experience with front end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS etc.
- Experience with Agile methodology, e.g. spring planning, daily Scrum, retrospective etc.

Position Summary

The NETS Customer Service Centre operates from 8.30am by 6.00pm, Monday to Friday (except public holiday) and is the key point of contact for our customers on their queries with regards to the company’s products and services.

As part of this team, the candidate will contribute significantly to the overall service experience of our customers by delivering excellent service in a prompt and professional manner via the various communication channels available.

Key Responsibilities

1. Queue Management at Counter

• Alongside with the counter staff reporting to the Team Manager, handle and resolve all customer queries received over the counter effectively and promptly (Card purchases, unblocking of cards, enquiries on cards, terminal returns and terminal collection)
• Ensure that all customer queries and any follow-up interactions are logged into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system accurately and timely
• Ensure all work that requires verification is adhered to within the specified period
• Handle escalations or operational potential issues that impacts counter servicing
• Perform other assigned duties and/or project work
• Update SOP Standard Operating Procedures when there are changes

2. People Management

• Oversee the performance of the assigned staff i.e. clearing the queues and handling the customer traffic within the service level standards in terms of queue time and wait time.
• Ensure robust plans for development and upskilling of staff
• Ensure active and timely performance management across all levels
• Drive strategies to improve staff engagement

3. Risk and Compliance

• Conduct RCSA controls testing
• Review and analyze risk and compliance reports
• Perform periodic review of Division KRI Key Risk Indicator with relevant stakeholders
• Perform periodic review of Division Risk and Compliance Self-Assessment and Regulatory Requirement Self-Assessment forms with relevant stakeholders
• Monitor and ensure that proper self-assessment procedure is conducted

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of Diploma-holder and/or 2-3 years of relevant counter/customer servicing experience
• Proficiency in local languages/dialects will be an advantage
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for problem-solving with the ability to identify root causes and pursue effective solutions
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Resourceful and able to perform well under pressure

What does it take to become a Civican?

To manage day to day library operations, operate Library Automation System and provide support in all areas of library information services, manage and maintain resources in the library including circulation, cataloguing as well as programme delivery to the customer as part of the Business Services Delivery in Singapore.

• Provision of short/long-term relief support to schools across Singapore when their regular librarian is not available
• Ensure efficient processing and circulation of resources to students and other library patrons.
• Shelve library materials and read shelves in accordance with recognized library standards i.e., DDC for school libraries
• Catalogue and process new materials promptly to have them ready for borrowing
• Creation of promotional materials and displays to support the school curriculum and library programmes
• Conduct library programmes and activities
• Generate regular reports on loans, overdue items, fines and other collection-related statistics
• Assist library patrons with queries
• Ensure good housekeeping in the library, including tidying the library and maintaining clear and accurate shelf signages to assist patrons in locating materials.
• Follow-up with students and staff on overdue, damaged and/or lost books
• Work with the stakeholders to manage damaged and/or lost books. This includes withdrawing, repairing or reconditioning library materials.
• Stocktaking and weeding of library materials
