You will be working in one of Singapore's leading premium gentlemen's barbershops 'Jermyn Street' based in Amoy Street and easy walking distance (400m) from both Telok Ayer (Downtown Line) and Tanjong Pagar (East West Line). Jermyn Street is well established and respected having just celebrated 10 years in operation. The team are a friendly bunch of (currently all male) barbers, all in their 30s, Our clients are a mixture of locals and expatriates who mostly work within the CBD area. You will undertake to positively project yourself as the face and voice of Jermyn Street whilst making our clients feel relaxed, at home, enjoying the experience of being truly cared about. · Welcome: Provide a warm welcome to all guests on arrival, by saying ‘Hi, I’m [your name], welcome (back) to Jermyn Street’ and enquire if they have an appointment. If they do, then ask their name and find them in our system - you can also use their phone number to cross-check. Ask to check their contact details are correct and ensure the database is updated if not. If there is no appointment (walk-ins) advise of the next available slot. If it is not convenient for them to wait, ask what alternative times / days are convenient for them and ensure an appointment is made before they leave. In any case, offer them a drink (even if we don’t currently have an appointment slot for them). When the booked barber is free, introduce the client to the barber and ensure a smooth handover, taking their drinks to the barber station for them and covering the drink with a Jermyn Street coaster to protect it.

· Departure: the barber will walk with the client to the reception counter and advise you of any extras purchased or any products / samples he has expressed an interest in. Please ensure that you ask to book their next appointment and to offer another drink if required. If we have any special promotions, referrals etc – make the client aware. Also, remind them that we have our Facebook and IG pages, which they can visit for updates and to make any future appointments.

· Laundry: you will ensure that the laundry is completed every shift whereby towels are washed, dried, folded and put away at least once per shift.

· Cleanliness: ensure that all areas are kept clean at all times, checking the toilets at least 3 times per day to ensure they are clean and tidy. Assist the barbers when busy by sweeping up hair around their workstation after each client leaves. The product shelves should be emptied and dusted at least once per day.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for customer support for company products in-house servicing/ Calibration activities.
• Prepare Service jobs and machine parts quotation instruction to Administrator.
• Submit warranty claims to factory on behalf of customer.
• To travel to customer site to perform installation, commissioning, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repairs of company products.
• Answer customer questions relating to technical and service problems with tactful and courtesy.
• Practice continuous improvement by staying up to date with new knowledge of equipment modifications, new systems, and related technical information.
• Take initiative to inform customers of additional services or refers product sales opportunities to the sales team.
• Share customer feedback to colleagues to innovate and create positive long-term benefits.
• Basic Management of all resources, materials and equipment required for each project to deliver the project effectively and efficiently.

Job Scope:

• Assist customers in daily bookings of cargo sales on our various airline products
• Booking of capacity with airlines and confirmation of capacity with customers.
• Be familiar with the requirements of our various airline products and advise our customers accordingly.
• Assist in the administration of cargo bookings, e.g. loading flight reservations into the system template and ensuring all data are accurately updated.
• Interface with multiple parties including customers, warehouse, carriers, customs, etc on shipment requirements
• Track and monitor shipment status and inform customers accordingly
• Maintain good relationships with both customers and handle customers' inquiries on a timely basis
• Work closely with the Billing Team to provide accurate data for invoicing.
• Other duties as assigned.
