As general manager, you will oversee your local office, and be responsible for the overall performance of that team.

You will thus have some involvement in all aspects of the business. You will work with clients; manage your team and address internal issues; liaise with Omnicom stakeholders; and play a role in new business too.

With regards to clients, you should only be acting as the day-to-day lead on accounts by exception. • Collaborate with local Delivery teams to craft promotion/ pricing strategy and customer/ distributor trade terms. Communicate with market partners, stakeholders and suppliers across Korea and Japan to drive business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors / Master’s Degree ideally in a business related field
• Min. 5-7 years of proven experience in strategic brand management, consulting or consumer journey design experience
• Digital Marketing skills and experience
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Cross-cultural communication skills
• Curiosity, forward-thinking courageous leadership
• Business proficiency in the Japanese or Korean language and strong market knowledge of Japan and Korea is highly preferred as the role requires local consumer understanding to develop brand equity and marketing strategies for these markets
