【Job Description】
Contract Management
- Manage yearly outsourcing reviews, including scope preparation and information gathering.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct and manage independent or third-party reviews for data center hosting services.
- Set and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for resolution times and overall performance.
- Oversee internal and external audits, including evidence collection and findings closure.
Budget Management
- Forecast and consolidate budget requirements for new financial years.
- Monitor monthly expenses and analyze reports to justify cost changes.
- Process invoices, track spending, and perform budget variance analysis.
- Ensure data center expenses do not exceed the annual budget.
Policy and Procedure Development
- Identify and implement new procedures related to data center operations.
- Draft procedures for access requests, installation, and device management.
- Develop a data center handbook for vendors and staff.
- Provide training on data center rules and regulations.
Human Resource Management
- Conduct yearly reviews of support structure, roles, and responsibilities.
- Manage manpower, including contractors and secondees, with contract renewals and shift arrangements.
Inventory Management
- Maintain detailed data center and rack layout diagrams.
- Track data center assets, including servers, storage, network devices, and security equipment.
- Manage space planning for cage and rack layouts.
- Conduct yearly inventory reviews.
Device Management
- Oversee asset tagging, daily inspections, and tool management.
- Monitor operations to prevent mishandling and ensure device functionality.
- Manage equipment registration, installation, and decommissioning.
Backup Tape Management
- Handle daily management of backup tapes, including inventory and storage.
Cabling Management
- Manage patch panel and power cabling installation, documentation, and maintenance.
- Oversee network cabling management, including testing, repairs, and deployment.
Security Management
- Control access card and rack key management, including logs and reviews.
- Monitor security through CCTV recordings and access checks.
【Job Requirements】
1. Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
2. A minimum of five years’ experience in DC Management, preferably within a banking environment.
3. Proficient in English (and Japanese if you can) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Strong interpersonal abilities, fostering trust and teamwork.
5. Analytical mindset with the capability to simplify complex issues for understanding.
6. Demonstrated organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
7. ITIL Certified and other relevant certificates (good to have).
