• Responsible for the preparations and modifications of Architectural design from concept designs through schematic design, design development and construction documentation
• Responsible for developing solutions to the technical & design complications following Singapore’s established standards
• Required to participate in Client liaison, authority consultation, coordination with consultants and subcontractors, and attending design and construction meetings
• Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, government agencies and stakeholders to create functional and aesthetic design results as per conceptual design.
• Work out schedule for shop drawing preparation/approval and material approval/procurement based on master programme and monitor the status.
• Liaise with BIM team on drawings production to identify clashes with other trades
• Ensure compliance to construction drawings, project specifications, client's needs and authorities' code and standards.
• Verify site installation according to approved shop drawings and finalize as built drawings.
• Review project specifications, technical clarification and construction drawings, identify technical issues and seek technical clarification.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Building or Architecture
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building projects

Roles and responsibilities:

· To do conceptual and detailed machine design with regard to mechanical aspects.

· To prepare solid models, layouts, views and bills of materials for assigned design machine assemblies and sub-assemblies.

· To prepare final design configurations, layouts, solid models and production/engineering data.

· To assist in preparation of machine documentation, specifications, manual.

· Able to perform assigned tasks independently or through team activities.

· Self-motivated, resourceful and organized.

Job Requirements:

Job Description

We are looking for a mechanical design engineer with at least 3 years of work experience who will be responsible for creating and developing mechanical systems and components for a food-making robot.
This includes conducting research, designing and drafting plans, testing and evaluating prototypes, and implementing and refining designs based on feedback and performance data. Note that this is a fully on-site role, so remote or hybrid work will not be permitted.

• Conducting research and analysis to understand the functional and performance requirements of the food-making robot we’re developing and coming up with appropriate design solutions.

• Developing detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings, using CAD

software and other tools, to create functional and efficient mechanical

systems and components
• Collaborating with other mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software

engineers to integrate mechanical designs into larger systems and ensure compatibility and performance.

• Testing and evaluating prototypes, using various tools and techniques, to assess their performance and identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.

Implementing and refining designs based on feedback and performance data and working with manufacturers to ensure that designs can be effectively and efficiently produced.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus oncreating and developing mechanical systems and components.
• Proficiency with CAD software and other design tools, such as SolidWorks,and Inventor.
• Ability to prototype designs, assemble and test them.
• Experience with control systems (Arduino, stepper motors, sensors, encoders) in robotics products is a huge plus.
• Strong technical skills and understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including materials, stress analysis, and manufacturing processes.
