JOB SCOPE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Detailed lifting plans and procedures.
• Documentation of equipment inspections and certifications.

• Develop lifting plans based on project specifications and site conditions.
• Perform site surveys to assess lifting requirements and constraints.
• Design rigging arrangements and select appropriate lifting equipment.

• Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for lifting operations.

Job Requirement

As an Automation Engineer at ResMed, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing Automation for manufacturing processes, equipment, facilities and documents, in order to meet the current and future production volume, quality, OHS and cost requirements.

Key deliverables include new capacity cell setup and process validation for design and/or process changes for both new and existing products.

• Design and Implement Automation Solutions: Develop and deploy automation systems and processes to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce manual labour, and improve overall productivity. This includes designing control systems, programming PLCs, and integrating automation equipment.

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or Physics
• Minimum 3 years proven experience in Automation
• Proven experience in Industrial Automation, Robotics Systems, Vision Systems, HMI, PLC, PC based programming in Manufacturing environment

Preferred:

• Relevant certifications in automation or control systems (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Allen Bradley, Omron)
• Experienced in Automation Design
• Experienced in Jigs & Fixtures Design, Material Selection, Fabrication Methods and Components Selection are advantageous
• Excellent technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems and equipment.
