Job Description

The Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health (GloW) aims to build a global research platform for transdisciplinary endeavours to address major health concerns over a woman's lifespan and across generations. Through its main hub in Singapore, the Centre will engage in multi-disciplinary research to promote women’s health, including a series of diet and lifestyle intervention studies.

Purpose of the role

The project coordinator/manager will play a key role in dietary intervention studies by actively managing and coordinating diet and lifestyle intervention studies in GloW. Responsibilities include development, implementation and monitoring of meal plans, educating participants as needed, collecting dietary data, and performing administrative duties to ensure the studies’ success and compliance. The staff will work closely with Principal Investigators of intervention studies, collaborate closely with the research team, food service team, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as undertake other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Centre’s Director as needed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The staff will hold a few key responsibilities, including

(1) Intervention study coordinator:

• Recruit and interview study participants for the intervention study
• Implement methods for collecting dietary data, including detailed food intake records and compliance monitoring.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate participants' nutritional status and document any deviations from prescribed diets.

(2) Nutritional Intervention study monitoring:

• Monitor food/nutrient composition for meals developed for intervention study

Reporting to the Deputy Director, Talent Management & Capability Development, the hire will be one of the team leads within Synapxe Academy, supervising a total of 3 assistant managers and/or executives in managing the learning operations, digitalization and productivity efforts as well as delivery experience. He/ she is required to work with the rest of the Academy team to drive, support and facilitate transformative learning initiatives, with the view to build a high performing, agile and future-ready health tech workforce in Synapxe.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Streamline and set up a strong learning delivery structure for the Academy operations which will enable a good employee experience and is productive.
• Review the Learning and Development Policy to ensure that the policy is updated in line with the learning philosophies and operating model.
• Establish a set of standard operating procedures that will serve as knowledge management and guide for all key learning operations.
• Monitor and track learning budget utilisation, timely completion of mandatory programmes by staff as well as report learning metrics to the various business units and at the organisational level

• Manage the SuccessFactors Learning Management System, specifically in ensuring seamless setting up of programmes/curriculum, updating of learning roadmaps, rolling out of mandatory programmes, integration with other e-learning platforms such as Udemy as well as accurate recording of learning history.
• Review and establish a common set of contractual terms with external learning vendors and contracting process, which will guide the procurement of learning support and vendor management across the entire Academy team.
• Manage and review enterprise-level learning subscriptions, such as Udemy, Gartner, Singapore Computer Society, to ensure good return-of-investment and cost effectiveness.
• Manage the learning facilities within Synapxe and ensure that they are set up properly to support the delivery of learning programmes.
• Drive all learning marketing and communication efforts; and ensure that all learning touchpoints such as the Intranet and mailbox, are updated and maintained.
• Work very closely with the Competency Development and Governance team to support the learning needs of the organisation. This includes collaborating very closely with them to plan and organise the developmental interventions to support business needs, to ensure that the Synapxe workforce has the right capabilities to support the business.
• As a learning partner to the selected Business Units (BUs), work with BUs to (1) carry out learning needs analysis to identify training needs, (2) identify suitable vendors for training, and (3) support in programme implementation. Be the first port of call when BUs have training-related queries.
• Collaborate with BUs to develop learning roadmaps based on competency frameworks to ensure that the learning needs for employees are clearly reflected for different job grades.
• Facilitate and oversee in-house training programmes for staff such as Group Orientation in an engaging and professional manner.
• Conduct timely reviews of the programmes run by Synapxe Academy to ensure that programmes are effective, and to source for alternative programmes, where relevant.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree with more than 15 years of working experience and prior experience in Learning and Development domain.
• Has at least 5 years of supervisory experience managing a small team of at least 3 staff independently.
• Proven track record in managing learning operations and systems, facilitation, programme development, and learning solutions deployment.
• Attainment of the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance or other established learning and development certifications would be an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee the filing of regular tax returns, tax audit / inquiries and notices from tax authorities, GST/VAT and withholding tax
• Lead implementation of Pillar 2 compliance for the Group
• Assist the group to comply with transfer pricing rules and plan comprehensive tax and transfer pricing strategies through the use of Organisation for Economic Cooperation (OECD) guidelines' and Singapore transfer pricing guidelines' methodologies.
• Manage all Singapore GST matters for the group ensuring tax compliance with GST regulations
• Provide advice on all tax matters including day-to-day tax planning and advisory / operational business support, review of commercial contracts and cross-border transactions, tax reporting and tax due diligence.
• Monitor and analyse the impact of proposed and newly enacted tax legislation on the business in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Identify tax efficient opportunities and assist with all aspects of tax strategy management, business acquisition and restructuring initiatives, tax efficient structuring and mitigation of tax risks.
• Support the tax provisioning process for the finance team.

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate and international shipping tax with prior experience in Big 4
• Familiar with Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and Singapore Transfer Pricing guidelines.
• Degree in Accountancy or its' equivalent or any professional tax qualifications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with emphasis on ability to interpret and analyze relevant tax law and summarize findings in non-technical business language for management
• Proficient in use of Excel, Data analytics.
• Self-starter who is able to produce quality results and meet deadlines.

• Lead the ServiceNow IRMS development, implementation, and adoption in Synapxe.
• Design, develop, implement, test and continuous maintenance the IRMS using ServiceNow capabilities, encompassing all GRC modules relevant to Synapxe such as Compliance & Audit Management, Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Third Party Risk Management, etc.
• Ensure users are respectfully challenged when requesting for enhancements.
• Work with end users to resolve escalated issues/defects within the GRC system.
• Establish and maintain the Synapxe central risk register and platform.
• Enable a holistic and central view of risk (e.g., operational risk, third party risk, compliance risk, etc.) via GRC systems; Integrate risk information (e.g., third-party risk, compliance risk).
• Upkeep the digital roadmap for risk management ensuring its relevance.
• Engage different parties to understand operation business needs and assist to translate into function and technical requirements.
• Transform manual, siloed and inefficient risk management related processes through IRM – harmonize processes, automate workflows, enable faster and more accurate reporting.
• Go-to person for ServiceNow IRMS and subject matter expert to advise and guide internal teams.
• Establish a collaborative relationship with cross functional teams such as IT.
• Maintain effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders.
• Involve in project and SI management in the IRM implementation.
• Manage projects and contracts, monitor the scope, schedule, budget and deliver the expected values from IRM.
• Keep Steering Committee and Senior Level Management apprised for GRC programme.
• Identify and manage project risks and implications to the project and recommend mitigation measures.
• Demonstrate your expertise in GRC systems; you are expected to further your own knowledge and improve productivity of your colleagues. This including staying updated on ServiceNow releases, features, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvements.
• Document and maintain the IRM matters e.g., workflows, knowledge base, budget, etc.
• Represent CRO for GRC Systems and ServiceNow IRMS matters.
• Manage stakeholders and partner/collaborate with business units across Synapxe and MOHH entities to achieve mutual objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• At least 8 years’ experience with a track record of successful ServiceNow IRM solutions implementation and integration with other applications.
• Strong understanding the ServiceNow IRM architecture, platform, and integration capabilities.
• Strong knowledge & experience in governance, risk management (IT and operational risks) and/or compliance.
• Strong knowledge on well-recognized frameworks & standards such as ISO31000 and COSO ERM.
• Must have ServiceNow certifications in ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in risk and compliance and ServiceNow System Administrator.
• Project management certification or CRISC, CISM, CISSP, CPRM, etc.

We’re searching for a Senior Manager/ MTS to be part of our Facilities Department diverse team of talent. You will be the Subject-Matter-Expert for both the UPW & Chemical Systems.

What you will be working on:

• Provide facilities technical support pertaining to Ultrapure Water, Wastewater, Chemical, Gas and Bulk Gas systems in wafer fabrication as to ensure continuous supply of utilities and related facilities at the required performance level or specifications
• Formulate, implement, review and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs for systems in charge so as to ensure that the systems function as intended at all times
• Formulate, implement, review and improve operating procedures so as to ensure optimum operation of systems
• Monitor and review utility consumptions and work with users to implement projects to reduce the consumption where possible
• Provide guidance and training on the systems in charge to fellow colleagues so as ensure adequate working knowledge and system backup
• Ensure plant histories, drawings, data and other appropriate documentations are being generated and properly filed for future reference and review
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate spares, consumables and other resources necessary for the day-to-day operation of the systems

More About You:

• Master/ Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Min 10 years of relevant experience in Semiconductor Wafer Fab environment
• Hands-on experience in day-to-day operation and maintenance is essential
