As an Accounts Executive, you will play a vital role in the accounting team, handling general accounting tasks such as revenue accounting, payable processing, billings, and monthly management reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Closing: Interface daily data from AIMS to the Accounting System.
• Accurate Recording: Ensure all invoicing, journal, and receipting entries are correctly recorded for month-end closing.
• Invoice Follow-up: Monitor outstanding invoices and resolve payment disputes.
• Accounts Payable: Manage the Accounts Payable Module.
• Fixed Assets: Generate monthly Fixed Assets Interface and maintain the Fixed Assets Module.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations.
• Guarantees: Prepare banker's guarantees applications.
• Reporting: Prepare management reports.
• GST Reporting: Handle quarterly GST reporting.
• Tax and Audit Queries: Respond to tax and audit queries.
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other assigned accounting duties.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Public Relations

• Work with internal and external stakeholders for coverage of publicity of any events and programmes.
• Preparing media releases, press releases, speeches and content for CEO/Executive Director and other related parties.
• Create and cultivate relationship with key media representatives
• Outreach to corporate and individual donors through regular communications and engagement.
• Work with internal departments to support public outreach and grow existing donor relations
• Manage and update donor’s database in a timely manner

Events

• Identifying Pertapis’ requirements and expectations for each event.
• Brainstorming and implementing event concepts and themes.
• Preparing event budgets and processing invoices.
• Researching and booking venues.
• Organizing suppliers, caterers, staff, and entertainment.
• Coordinating all logistical elements of the event.
• Managing set-up, tear-down, and clean-up operations.
• Anticipating attendee needs and making preparations against potential risks.
• Developing post-event reports on the effectiveness of each event.

2. Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Degree / Diploma in Communications, Public relations, Events management, or related field. With 1- 2 years experience.
• Good command in English and Malay
• Successful candidate will require to write a Press Release or a short speech
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, out-of-the-box thinking.
