Purpose of the post

The Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and study team members to ensure the successful completion of the trial on time in accordance with GCP, regulatory guidelines and institutional policies. Main Duties and Responsibilities

What the role is:

This is a team of learning and development (L&D) specialists and researchers who support the building of public sector capabilities in domains such as governance, social-economic policy, international relations, and public communications and engagement, and policy tools. Offerings include a suite of physical and digital content, articles in publications such as ETHOS, seminars, training programmes and milestone programmes.

What you will be working on:

· Sense-make and support the capacity building needs of officers and teams in the public service, especially those doing policy and planning. This includes identifying their competency gaps.

· Foster close relations with key stakeholders in government agencies, and policy and planning units.

· Keep pace with related developments and identify emerging issues.

· Develop interventions and programmes to bridge competency gaps and oversee the implementation of the interventions and programmes. Nurture and expand communities of practice across the service.

· Undertake facilitation/moderation and note-taking, where necessary.

What we are looking for:

· 3 years of experience in policy work in Public Service would be relevant.

· Good analytical and communication skills.

· Ability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders, and with local and international thought-leaders, practitioners and resource persons.

· Strong ability in planning, implementing and evaluating programmes with minimal supervision.

· Strong public speaking and facilitation skills are a bonus.

Job Responsibilities:

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Work closely with Client Directors to further build client relationships and maintain/grow accounts. (e.g. collaborate on proposals, costs, account reviews, lead presentations/ discussions, etc.).

• Independently able to lead and manage standardized as well as customized studies (Including designing Questionnaires/discussion guides, analysing and evaluating results, and report writing)
• Independently able to develop, implement, coordinate, and manage research projects in collaboration with the internal Research team, external consultants, & operations team.

• Actively drive issue-based analyses, build effective analytical presentations, and consultative storytelling to clients in a straight-forward way.

Requirements:

• Experience in Quantitative research is non-negotiable
• Competent and well-versed in all stages of market research (e.g. proposal writing, questionnaire design, sampling, data collection, data analysis, reporting, and presentation)
• Strong industry knowledge especially in the Brand Health Tracking domain.
• Experience in other disciplines such as U&A, segmentation, pricing, purchase journeys, and product and concept tests would be an added bonus
• Experience in managing a high volume of complex quantitative research studies under tight budgets and schedules.
• Good organiser with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
