The Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) business, part of the Global Business Unit Land and Air Systems, is providing leading edge Air Traffic Management (ATM), Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM), Security and Digital Aviation solutions for the Commercial and Defence sectors.

The AMS business manages 11% of the world’s airspace and with revenues of over 500 million Euros worldwide, is the global market leader in airspace management solutions. In Singapore, the business focus is the delivery and support of two key ATM solutions including TopSKY-ATC(HE) and LORADS-III.

This role will initially support the TopSKY-ATC(HE) product line.

Role Description

The Engineering Delivery Management (EDM) role is focused on technical management of all engineering activities. They provide direction, guidance, expert advice, mentoring, support, audit, and workflow management (tasking prioritisation and resource coordination) in support of achieving project objectives and milestones in accordance with the approved schedule. The EDM will manage a multi-skilled team of system, software, integration, V&V and infrastructure engineers to provide on time delivery of services and support for systems and/or sub-systems of products, or for projects, across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

· Provide direction, expert advice, mentoring, and workflow management (including task prioritisation and resource coordination) in support of achieving project objectives and milestones

· Lead a multi-skilled team of engineers to deliver software engineering solutions, aligning team capability to meet customer expectations

· Lead technical reviews, workshops, peer reviews and project reviews as appropriate for the program

· Prepare and lead the monthly TFR and support the WPPR

• Provide support to bids, produce/review Engineering Cost estimates for any modification proposals to the functional baseline
• Provide support during the analysis of Customers requirements to propose and negotiate win–win solution responses with Customers based in Australia and worldwide

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Qualifications

· Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or other relevant qualification

Essential Experience

· Solid experience of managing the development of real time distributed complex software centric solutions in a safety critical environment

· Solid experience in total life cycle of complex software development, including processes and responsibilities at each stage in the cycle

· Solid knowledge and experience in Systems Engineering lifecycle (eg. EIA632, ISO/IEC15288)

· Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders across a complex environment

· Solid eperience of leading and mentoring team of multi-skilled engineering team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment

· Solid experience in upskilling and training new engineers

Purpose of the post

The role of the research assistant is to support immune cell manufacturing, including CAR-T cells, for several ongoing clinical trials. We are seeking highly motivated, conscientious and meticulous individuals to join our experienced team, be trained in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and be involved in research aimed at improving the treatment of patients with cancer.

Job Description

• Responsible for quantity take-off and cost estimation of tenders and projects
• Manage project budgets, monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that expenses align with the budgeted amounts
• Analyze tender outcome and prepare detailed reports for review and submit and discuss with Senior as soon as possible
• Make sure the accurate and detailed cost estimation of construction projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs
• Responsible for tender pricing preparation and tender submission
• Evaluating and selecting competent suppliers and main contractor for the construction works and maintain good relationship
• Responsible for order taking and make sure timely delivery of order
• Measure and determine the amounts of work done at each stage in order to prepare periodic progress payment requests for submission
• Prepare and follow up monthly progress claims in timely
• Assist Senior on construction contracts and activities and deal with all contractual related issues including extension of time, loss and expense claims, terms and conditions etc
• Aware and comply with relevant regulations such as Security of Payment Act (SOP) and ensure compliance with relevant ISO and company standards or objectives
• Attend meeting and travel to site is required to follow up the progress as well as to provide cost escalation alerts
• Communicate between internal functional departments and external parties such as sub-contractor, suppliers, tender team, and finance department etc

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• At least 4 years of QS experience in construction area is required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills to accurately estimate costs
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
• Willing to work overtime during critical periods as and when required
• Able to complete tasks within deadlines and work well under pressure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall daily operations of Building Engineering that includes PSI, PFI and SLA.
• Liaison with clients or ground agencies for on-site inspection works.
• Collaborate with client on new project and prepare cost estimations for tenders or quotations.
• Strategize PSI, PFI, and SLA work schedules, as well as manage manpower and resource allocation.
• Carry out structure inspections to existing building structure or infrastructure to identify defects and repair when required.
• Review, plan and coordinates the operations of a field inspection section and manages inspection projects.
• Provide visionary, leadership and direction within the team.
• Manage quotations processes, filing and follow up on billing payments and invoicing related to Building Inspection.
• Review reports prepared by Engineers/Inspectors/subcontractors, ensuring timely submission within set deadlines.
• Monitor the progress of work for each project and ensure timely submission of progress payment claims to clients on a regular basis.
• Enforce adopted codes and regulations pertaining to building inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Stay updated on new rules, regulations and technical information disseminated through internal communication channels.
• Supervises Building Inspectors/Engineers and Sub-Contractors, including task prioritization, expenses management, leave scheduling, performance evaluations, training and recommendation on hiring, termination, and disciplinary actions.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.

• Maintain a register of operatives and staff on-site detailing their training records
• Identify training needs of site personnel and inform them of upcoming training bookings
• Liaise with the Foreman to complete staff wages in the draft, and finalise with the Site Agent
• Produce a site register to record all items to be inspected under LOLER and PUWER Regulations, and ensure they are regularly checked.
