Job Description

• The Research Fellow will work closely with the Principal Investigator, Dr. WU Zhe, on several research projects of optimization of chemical and manufacturing processes through machine learning tools
• The Research Fellow will help to develop both theoretical and simulation study of machine-learning-based control and optimization algorithms to chemical processes.

Job Requirements

For Research Fellow Position:

• A PhD degree in a relevant area, e.g., Control Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Applied Mathematics;
• Good publication record;
• Experienced in advanced process control, machine learning, and programming languages (e.g., python, Matlab, C++, etc)

- Minimum 3 years of experience

- Well versed in Fanuc/Mitsubishi control

- Know how to use measuring instrument (PD micrometer, Ring groove gage)

- Able to work independently

- Experience in Oil & Gas sector

- Knowledge of ACME/ STUB/ BUTTRESS/ API LPI Thread & Ring Groove (For Oil & Gas)

- Able to work in shifts

1. Customer acquisition: BDEs are responsible for finding new clients and convincing existing clients to continue to work with the company.

2. Lead generation: BDEs generate leads and keep them interested until they reach the bottom of the sales funnel.

3. Negotiation: BDEs negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers.

4. Project management: BDEs oversee projects in the company.

5. Communication: BDEs interact with clients and business partners to promote good relationships and develop a rapport with their team.

6. Organizational skills: BDEs may work with multiple clients at once and need to maintain progress reports.

7. Market trend analysis: BDEs analyze the current market and business trends to create plans to boost up the business.

AI based maintenace & Reliability Optimization Engineer:

Develop engineering solutions to overcome repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect plant operations.

Manage and supervise a team of Calibration/E&I Technicians to perform instrument calibration and instrument maintenance activities

• Support maintenance operations and shutdown activities by working with Supervisor and Engineer on developing the annual PM plan, setting work priorities; scheduling PM activities, coordinating and resources planning to meet the schedule in cost-effective way.

Drive Sustainability: Lead initiatives for waste reduction, carbon emissions, and water conservation; assess and adopt renewable energy solutions for the manufacturing plants in semi conductor and petrochemical sectors

Continuous Improvement: Apply data-driven approaches to improve asset reliability and sustainability, integrating best practices across the manufacturing plant.

AI-driven predictive maintenance improves operational efficiency by optimizing maintenance schedules and resource allocation. Analyzing real-time data and predictive analytics allows AI algorithms to prioritize tasks and allocate resources more effectively.
