Job Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of working experience in the area of basic and detailed marine piping design in shipbuilding, marine & offshore and oil & gas, offshore new energy industry, etc.

2. Proven working experience in a wide range of shipbuilding and marine & offshore structures (e.g. self-elevating units, column stabilized units, surface type units, new build or conversion FPSO/FSO/FPU/MOPU hull and topside design), participated in at least 1 offshore project.

3. Diploma in appropriate field of study or related engineering disciplines.

4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

5. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

6. Competent in speaking and writing mandarin with colleagues in the China branch.

7. Proficient in Navisworks, CAD software, MS Office Word and Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

8. Familiar with 3D modelling software, i.e. Aveva Marine, E3D, Intergraph Smart 3D etc.

9. Preferable if familiar with P&ID software, i.e. Aveva Diagram, Intergraph Smart P&ID etc.

10. Familiar with offshore design rules, standards and requirements of DNV/ABS/BV/CCS/API/ASME etc.

11. Able to be stationed at project sites or overseas if required by the project, i.e. SEA, China, Europe etc.

12. Able to travel domestic or international if required by work, i.e. SEA, China, Europe etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Render all M&E Engineering support to the M&E Manager/Project Manager for the successful execution of the project.
• Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, consultant representative (RE/RTO), relevant authorities and sub-contractors on M&E issues and challenges.
• Coordinate with all M&E subcontractors, as well as project team structural and architectural colleagues to resolve all drawings, site discrepancy or technical issues.
• Attend all project meetings and progress meetings relating to meeting master program schedule.
• Ensure good M&E drawing management and the control of M&E documentation/filing on site.
• Ensure timely production and submission of M&E shop drawings, materials submission and method statements. All M&E shop drawings, materials and method statement are to be approved before use.
• Ensure all M&E site activities are well-planned, well-coordinated and on time.
• Oversee and guide all M&E staff/Supervisors/sub-contractors, ensuring work is carried out in accordance to the approved shop drawings, materials and method statements.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive M&E progress report with photographs when required.
• Arrange for all M&E T&C works
• Work with Consultants to come out with proper site inspection schedule to be carried out by the relevant government authorities.
• Work closely with EHS Department to ensure strict compliance of safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years’ experience for Main Contractor in project management and/ or site coordination works for building or civil projects
• Strong in communication skill and speak good English
