Working Days: Monday-Friday, 5 days (standby for Saturday if needed)

Working hours : 8:30am -6:00pm, 8.30 a.m-1 p.m

Purpose

• Applies Project knowledge, Engineering knowledge and seasoned experience to independently manage the engineering and design of a project, resolve interface issues across different engineering disciplines and support the fabrication, installation, commissioning and start up of facilities and equipment/ utilities interface associated with the conversion and outfitting of FSO / FPSO tankers, conversion of MOPU jack-ups for production operations or deep water TLP project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in engineering or Master of Engineering. Alternatively, Diploma holders with strong engineering experience may also be considered.
• Minimum 20 years’ experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas FPSO line
• Minimum 1 FPSO experience is necessary.
• Any relevant industrial based certification (i.e. Chartered Engineer, PMP, etc) will be an added advantage.
• Familiar in use of Software, Database systems related to Engineering functions.

Role Purpose

Key Accountabilities

Coordinate with the engineering disciplines assigned to the project and work closely with project management, procurement, HSE, QA/QC, operations and construction team for preparation of deliverables meeting the quality and safety requirements.

Engineering Setup

Coordinate with the engineering disciplines to set up Engineering and Design systems, Engineering Schedule, Master document Register (MDR), Procurement Schedule.

Engineering Deliverables

Coordinate with the engineering disciplines to issue all deliverables on schedule

Engineering Schedule

Work with the project planner to develop Level 3 and Level 4 engineering schedules

Management of Changes

Implement engineering change management for the Topsides engineering post design freeze in all disciplines including communication, tracking and approval by the relevant stakeholders

Engineering Interfaces

Coordinate with Engineering disciplines to respond and closeout of Class Society comments, Client Technical Queries, Site Queries and Operation Queries for topsides

Subcontractor Management

Coordinate with the Detailed Engineering subcontractors and Third Party specialists for Topsides

Engineering Resources

Support Topsides Engineering Manager in forecasting and mobilizing engineering and design resources for Topsides Engineering

Compliance

Ensure compliance with Company’s Standards and Procedures with specific attention to change management and deviation approval process

Requirements
