• Minimum a Degree in an Engineering discipline, Electrical and Electronic Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering with at least 3 years of sales experience in B2B environment and international organisation. Possess knowledge in any of the following areas a plus point:

About the Role:

• As an Principal Engineering Architect, you will be working within the Architecture & Innovation team with a primary mandate to provide architecture guidance as part of the Design Authority.
• In additional to the gatekeeper role, there is a secondary mandate to accompany local teams to define strategic roadmaps, animate the engineer leadership, and create technical architecture and pattern, domain models, technical strategy.
• Chair the Technical Community, composed of the Technical leaders of the IT Division.
• You will be contributing to technical strategy definition as well as technical foundations. You identify your division’s technical needs and requirements, ensures they are addressed/covered by technical foundations (when relevant) and contributes to market watch / experimentations.
• You will be ensuring success criteria are defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage to expected project outcomes in line with the program outcomes.
• As part of an integrated organization across 3 main sites, you will forge close relationships with program director, others team leads, architecture functions and quality assurance teams. There will be a limited travel aspect to this role (approx. 25%).
• A strong maturity in project management is required as you will be part of the project committee, reporting the progress highlights with key performance indicator, evaluating risk assessment and proposing mitigation, ensuring transparency throughout project lifecycle.
• Leads technical Information System Strategy
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, co-create, and document business requirements and the overall business strategy
• Collaborate with each business line to define technology roadmaps, technical architecture and the execution plans for technical components with a focus on Data and Business Processes (services)
• Present strategic technology roadmap and evolution of our capabilities to heads of business. Reach agreements on their alignments with business goals and mid-term strategy and confirm business value delivered by investment in technologies.
• Leads technical studies for the most critical projects of the IT Division
• Contribute to the technology strategy and architecture of Capital Markets in support of our digital transformation (Cloud, API, data, Artificial Intelligent and security) and shift towards digital services and data-centricity
• Ensure architecture decisions adhere to transformation drivers and architecture principles during the architecture practice lifecycle
• Take a modern approach to technology architecture practice, incorporating DDD (Domain Driven Design) and Evolutionary Architecture approaches alignment with the digital transformation strategy.
• Discover, define and model technical architecture design in collaboration with technology & business stakeholders
• Contribute to the definition of technical components, their data domains and associated data products for analytical consumption
• Propose executable technical solutions where data is treated as a primary concern in the field of data, contributing to the development of a Data architecture using the concepts of Domain Driven Design and Data Mesh.
• Supports the Technical Leaders in their technical activities
• Within the community of architects, take a leadership role in leading technology working groups to feed and improve our vision and to implement accelerators.
• Ensures continuous Technical learning of its Technical Community, especially on Craftsmanship and DevOPS practices

About the Requirements:

Mandatory

• At least 12+ years of experience in Information Technology arena with demonstrated experience around strategic planning, enterprise architecture preferably in banking & financial services, risk management and software engineering.
• Experienced in leading technical design from inception to proof of concept
• Good knowledge of strategic IT solutions and hands-on experience in software development.
• A strong understanding of latest programming languages including Python, Java, Rust and Go
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures, with strong fundamentals in complexity analysis
• Experience in platform and/or product definition, operating model and change management
• Strong ability to analyze code – understand execution flow & debug even
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, MLOps and tooling

Good to Have

• Understanding of trade life cycle, financial products (Treasury, FX, Bonds, Credit, IRD…)
• Exposure to Capital Market FO/BO system

Job Responsibilties

• Conducting site construction daily work for project and liaising with the consultants, vendors, contractors on site
• Preparing inspection forms, MSRA, site working schedule, daily site plan, daily report, assisting of Mech Eng/ manager on site document/ forms/report during construction & T&C stage
• Overseeing/ manage/ monitor/ control/ reporting site activities of sub contractors and coordinating on site level with other partners’ sub contractors
• Conduct construction, QAQC inspection/ testing for the area of responsibility as instructed by Mech Eng/ manager
• Attending all relevant WSH activities such as Safety site walk, TBM, audit, safety stand down etc
• Preparing, discuss and coordinate to address safety and health issue daily including identify, rectify, make good, report and closure of any Safety observation, findings, NCs and other safety related issues
• Interact with project technical supports for relevant site work and liaise with other engineer during project execution and commissioning work
• Liaison with local authorities, stakeholders when during site visit related to assign construction activities responsibility
• Coordinate on site logistic, interfacing with cranes, machineries
• Assist Mech Eng/ Manager in preparing of technical submissions of proposal (when needed) including drawing, layout and interacting point requirement
• To attend (if required by superior) the sub contractor meeting and attending any stakeholders, client, partners, authorities meeting whenever is required
• Any other instruction or direction by management
• To work shift and Sat/Sun whenever is required by the Superior. Leave in-lieu will be given base on employment agreement.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or 10 years of relevant working experience in the same field
• Familiar with process engineering, mechanical system and their standards in related discipline is an advantage
• Related working experience in thermal power plant, process industries and mechanical handling equipment is an advantage
• Preferred to have heavy equipment lifting, planning and coordination experience
• Having correct working attitude and will be full time working on site
• Experience in BIM and hands-on AutoCad operating will be preferred
• Willing to work in Tuas
• Will be required to work on shifts, and working on Sat and Sunday with leave in-lieu arrangement
• Possession of Singapore Driving License is required. Else, willing to convert the current license to Singapore Driving License
• This is a 2 years contract role.
