Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Engineering sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Transport Operation Executive to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West – easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of internal/external transport personnel, ensuring smooth operations/processes
• Facilitate communication among the company’s different departments to enhance efficiency in the movement/operations of the company’s equipment, ensuring optimal transport arrangements
• Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of incoming/outgoing equipment to meet the necessary deadlines
• Receive/Manage incoming goods and shipments, coordinating with the various freight forwarders, and arrange the parking accordingly
• Suggest/Implement cost-saving measures, optimizing transportation expenses and meeting the company’s saving objectives
• Update/Maintain the necessary transport delivery information, distributing the necessary documents to the various departments
• Work closely with both internal/external stakeholders to guarantee the seamless execution of the company’s transportation operations
• Monitor/Enhance the company’s transportation policies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing potential policies
• Negotiate/Liaise with various external transport providers to identify the best cost saving methods for transporting the company’s equipment between various locations
• All other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or other relevant field of studies
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics/Transportation Operations

About the Role – You Will:

• Provide comprehensive engineering support to the production line, ensuring adherence to process flow, specifications, procedures, and documentation
• Monitor process variables, making necessary adjustments for optimal performance
• Conduct quick and effective diagnosis and troubleshooting of routine or minor problems
• Perform process buy-off after equipment preventive maintenance or breakdowns
• Document routine manufacturing processes and report data for shift duty pass-down
• Conduct or assist in experiments with the aim of process improvement
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)

About You:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related Engineering field

Job Description

• Perform LAN/WAN Network management.
• Day to day IT support duties via remote or on-site support.
• Provide IT support to the Security and Surveillance Project Team on IT related domain.
• Troubleshooting of Network problems.
• Manage and Maintain Windows Server and QNAP.
• Provide support to IT Project
• Install, setup and monitor company office network infrastructure, eg. LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS and etc.
• Liaise with IT procurement team to sourcing the make / model of the hardware or software.
• Indetify risk of existing systems and bring across to the Team for internal discussion.
• Responsible for IT support for IT issues which needs hands on support such as hardware problem diagnostics, PC/software installation, configuration, maintenance of operating systems, etc.

Job Requirement

• Diploma in any IT related
• At least 2 years of working experience
• Experience in troubleshooting of network issues.
• Basic computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Router setup and configuration (e.g. Ip address configure, DHCP, WiFi, and etc.)
• Knowledge of NAS Setup, configuration, maintenance (Qnap, Synology, and etc)
• Copier machine setup, configure, troubleshooting (Install print driver, Scanning configure, Fax, and etc.)

Supply Chain Manager

• Source and identify suppliers for direct/indirect materials/services to expand supplier base and for new project/production needs.
• Obtain quotes from newly source suppliers to achieve competitive costing and continuous cost reduction.
• Lead in conducting periodic price negotiation with suppliers to ensure competency in cost for materials/services.
• Be part of team to conduct supplier qualification audit as well as parts qualification to ensure suppliers can meet company needs.
• Supervise & train junior staff in leading the team in accomplishing all above duties.
• Any other task/project assigned by management.
• Develop Purchasing strategy for different categories of supplies to ensure on time order fulfilment with minimum inventory for direct purchases.
• Ensure all indirect purchases needs of company is being fulfilled based on user’s needs.
• Manage warehouse team to ensure timely receiving/issuance of raw materials.
• Manage warehouse team to achieve order fulfillment requirements specific to all customer shipments.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 to 7 years experiences
• Proficient in Microsoft Words and Excel
